  “The regal got recommended to me when visiting the area and it did not disappoint. The food menu was varied and very reasonably prices. Very good portion sizes and a good selection of drinks.”

  “15 of us turned up last Sunday afternoon, 10 adults & 5 children, they seated us straight away. The lady that served us was very helpful & friendly, I didn't catch her name but she loved to chat to us. She took all 15 orders, and they all came out at the same time . Excellent service. I paid the bill & unfortunately I forgot to leave a tip. So I went back today and she wasn't working, but explained to another girl about our wonderful experience & great food & left the tip which i had forgotten. Definitely go back for a meal”

  “I visited The Regal in Felixstowe a couple of weeks ago and had a lovely experience, so I was looking forward to coming back today. Unfortunately, today's visit around 2:00 PM was a completely different story. The food arrived cold, and the portion sizes were noticeably small. It felt like the staff were in a massive rush, which ruined the atmosphere and seemingly affected the quality of the food. I know they can do much better based on my last visit, but today was really disappointing.”

  “Visiting from Spain for the Ipswich v Boro match (sadly Ipswich robbed us with a dodgy penalty and it finished 2-2), so I have to have the type of foods I can’t get in Spain. Tick-box number 1 is of course Fish and Chips. Service was very good and friendly, and we didnt wait long for a table. My eyes are usually too big for my belly so given I fancied a chip butty I dropped down to a small cod which was large enough. My friends had the medium and it would have been too big. Accompanying the fish and chips was a curry sauce. I’ve certainly had better fish but given it had been a long time 🕰️ was more than happy.”

  “We like the Regal, have been a few times now when visiting. Great gluten free options and kids portions (which are large). Like that the chips are cooked traditionally in beef dripping. Good choice, quick and friendly service.”

  “We went out of way to come to this place as we had heard that you can always rely on a great fish and chips meal here. We chose our own table for 4 persons in the window (Table 23) and checked through the menu card. You then have to order at the counter which is a little weird as there seem to be enough young ladies on duty. But OK. We ordered cod & chips, twice, plaice and chips and a saveloy. Mushy peas were extra as were three tiny sachets of brown sauce. All for an extra fiver. With our drinks, including a chilled pint of "Level Head" ale, the whole meal came to a round 60 pounds. We ate there ca. 18:00 which may have been a bit early for most folks and which may have accounted for the sparse number of fellow diners there. No matter. We enjoyed the food and drink and left feeling happy.”
