Customer Review Summary
The Yorkshire Cream Tea, two scones with clotted cream, strawberry jam and a pot of tea, is the one item reviewers name, and one calls it quite perfect. Breakfast and the service draw repeated praise, and the old fashioned interior gets a mention. The main complaint is cost: one reviewer found three little cakes expensive, and another was seated downstairs despite booking, while walk-ins got the street windows.

“The famous Bettys Tea Rooms of Harrogate - is it worth the fuss? I would say Yes! Old fashioned in all ways, as it should be! Friendly service and nice interior. We had the Yorkshire Cream Tea - 2 scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam and a pot of tea. Quite perfect. There is a much fuller menu of food and drinks which looked good, so we'll try this next time, maybe in York.”

“Went for breakfast on Sunday morning. Service was amazing and food was equally good.”

“I booked a table, only to find we were placed downstairs. I was very disappointed. I was informed that the tablets upstairs in the main restaurant with windows onto the street were reserved for WALK INS. I feel this is all backwards. Though who take time to arrange their activities she be rewarded by a table by a window not stuffed in the basement. The food was great but it is very expensive. 3 little cakes were £12.00”
