Customer Review Summary
The Masterpiece sandwich draws the most praise. Reviewers call it spot on, one says nothing local can top it, and a weekly customer pairs the large size with the slow cooked brisket sandwich. Close behind are the soup, the New Yorker, a beef wrap called phenomenal, and coffee called excellent. One reviewer also enjoyed an egg and toast breakfast and a salad, and another liked the sandwiches being wrapped and tied with string. The main complaints are cost and reliability. A few find the sandwiches overpriced, especially through Just Eat. Others describe long waits, and one reports paying for add-ons and finding them missing, along with forgotten sauce. Staff are called friendly by one reviewer, flustered by another, and snappy with a colleague by a third. One reviewer describes a delivery arriving hours late during road closures, a rude phone call, and a refund dispute. Even so, one diner came from Glasgow two days running for the Masterpiece and soup, and another returned for lunch every day that week.

“The food is always good, sometimes the wait can be a bit too long for essentially a sandwich but if you have the time to wait for a better quality product it's fine - presume this is because of their delivery service as well as collections/walk-ins, and the service can come across as flustered depending who's working.”

“The food in here is extremely overpriced for what it actually is. It's not bad in terms of actual taste but it's a complete dice roll on whether it's going to take 30 mins to get made or whether it's going to be accurate (several times have paid to add things and then opened to find they're not there, forgotten sauce etc). Multiple chances but given up now.”
