  “We've always ordered from here and collected. Since our last visit until today the quality has dropped dramatically, the costs have increased considerably. They used to add extra wings and spring rolls when orders were over a certain amount. Discount to collect. Now without these extras, plates still have leftovers but because it was not nice. A slight name change and almost 50% hike on the Combo Platter. We could have sat in and eaten in the buffet for not much more per head. I've posted the 3 menus, year on year. Don't mind the hike if the quality was there. Really disappointing and would urge to avoid. We won't be going back again”

  “Me and my partner would order from here occasionally, we loved the seafood… HOWEVER on our last order, everything was drenched in salt, it’s like they were masking the fact that the food was possibly outdated and stale? Me and my partner are very cautious when eating something that has gone off, so we couldn’t even finish the £50 worth of food we ordered, tasted stale and so so much salt was added you can visually see the salt, such a shame, used to be good, we can’t order again as we’re worried we may get sick”

  “We revisited this place recently... In its hay day years ago it was lovely, fancy, busy. Was very disappointed this time ... I couldnt fault the food, but the temperature outside was around zero... And only 3 or 4 degrees warmer inside... To the point we all kept our coats on for the whole meal.... We were absolutely freezing. Price wise, its ok. Around £26 a head for an unlimited buffet style plus drinks.”

  “Great meal, a huge selection of plates, great service, meals were piping hot. Buffet was great and reasonable price for the amount of food you can have. Gets very busy which is nice to see. Parking is free after 4pm across the road. Will be returning again!”

  “I would never recommend this restaurant First the food is either sweet or too salty and charges way than they should. They say one thing and charge you way more . I would never to that restaurant. £61.50 for a buffet share between my husband and my 5 year old daughter???? Ridiculous..”

  “Lovely chinese restaurant opposite the Quay in Great Yarmouth. Parking across the road in the Quay car park, free after 4pm, or park directly outside, free after 6pm. Tasty food, excellent service. Choice of main menu or buffet menu. We shall visit again.”

  “Food was discusting, dry, tasteless ,couldn't even eat the Hong Kong pork as it was so tough. The prawns in the fried rice were not fully cooked”

  “My wife and I looked through many reviews of the local chinese restaurants in the great Yarmouth area and the "china Diner" had lots of wonderful reviews, so we decided to eat there. We are so very pleased we did as the staff were extremely polite and friendly, the restaurant was very clean and a lovely place to spend some time in. The food arrived quickly and was excellent! Plenty of flavour and cooked perfectly. We 100% reccomend you eat here if you get the chance. We will definitely be returning whenever we can to enjoy the experience again and again.”

  “Very nice food and good customer service. Although it was a fairly hot day, it was quite cold as we went in the evening and the front door was kept open and as the rooms are so large, we didn't really warm up.”
