  “The staff at Nando’s are very rude and don’t seem to know how to speak to customers respectfully. Most of the time they are just standing around instead of helping people. Even the manager doesn’t know how to deal with customers professionally or handle complaints properly. The customer service is very disappointing, and the overall experience was poor.”

  “I witnessed from across the room a woman kicking off and was screaming at a mother when she was sat beside her small child. The staff did an absolutely terrible job of diffusing the situation and let it continue. I was upset to see this unfold without any proper care given to anyone involved.”

  “I gave Nando’s Lakeside - The Boardwalk a second chance today, but unfortunately this was the second poor experience in a row. The chips were soggy, the chicken was bland and dry, and the overall quality was well below what I would expect from Nando’s, especially compared with other chicken shops. The chicken also was full of wet foam inside, and there was no sign of the Lemon & Herb sauce I ordered. On top of that, paying £2.99 in service fees just to receive poor-quality food is unacceptable. Over £40 worth of food ended up being wasted. That is the end of it for me. I will not be ordering from this branch again. I also do not want the usual “please call us to discuss” response. My honest advice is to focus that energy on improving the customer experience, service standards, and food quality, rather than replying with a defensive PR-style message.”

  “Bad service. Waited 30 minutes for 2 drinks (beer and cocktail). Asked 2 different members of staff where they was and was told they are on their way. Then had to ask a 3rd member who was extrenely apologetic and came straight away. The food was normal however the service was not upto standard considering the price £51 for 2 people to dine with a drink would expect a lot more.”

  “Lovely seating area outside innthe sun or find a shaded area. Order inside up at the till or with the QR code at your table. Staff are friendly and helpful. Unlimited peach iced tea is sugarfree and caffeine free which is a brilliant option for a summer drink. Food was lovely 😍 Mac and cheese highly recommended 👌 and the sunset burger is full of flavour and chicken thighs instead of breaded for the healthy option”

  “Absolutely horrible! The guy who welcomed us was friendly and all but the short hair (lady?) was absolutely horrible? She was walking around did not care at all! Literally she didn’t smile once and she seemed like she is on drugs? Just so sad to be served by someone who doesn’t care single bit.. I raised my issue with the other waiter / manager hw said it not first time somebody complained,,, ? So tell me why nobody does anything about it? This person shouldn’t be serving people as I was coming happy and leaving sad!”

  “Went here on a Sunday evening, and my little one was a bit moody, but Sarah C - general manager was amazing with her. She gave her a game to play which calmed her down, which also helped her eat her food. If you go in with kids, then please know they are more than welcomed. I will always come to this one in the future”

  “The blonde older lady (01/09pm) at the till has poor customer service skills. I repeated my table number three times and she did not understand me correctly, but when my friend repeated it once again she did and she was very annoyed to have to restart the order on the till. The other staff were all excellent, though, and very friendly.”

  “First time visiting Nando's Lakeside, very friendly and helpful staff. Our food was left sitting on the counter after being platted and was not very hot once we received them,I asked to have my rice change and it was done .”
