  “First time visit. First impressions were it was spacious, clean and well laid out. The member of staff serving us was helpful and very friendly. The food arrived at our table quickly. The 'regular' portions were... generous! Overall a pleasant visit and will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommend it 🙂”

  “Very fast and helpful! I went in last night about an hour before they closed so there weren't many boxes of sushi ready to go. I explained I had to catch a train soon and asked if they'd have enough time to prepare it all, they smiled and said they'll need about 15 minutes. They prepared everything on time and it was delicious!! So glad I went there. To the guy behind the register, thank you very much!! 😁”

  “Honestly this is quite tasty. We got the teriyaki salmon which was nice with noodles and the chilli chicken which was okay- a bit gristly. They didn’t have any of the chilli pork which was annoying. The noodles were quite oily which was fine but this place is definitely not as good as itsu. The portion size is very good though- you get a lot for your money!”

  “Before finding this place I struggled to get good boba in Gloucester. It's so good and my go to place . They are incredibly friendly and give suggestions when you don't know what to try . They also have a massive range of flavours and is relatively cheap . Their food always smells heavenly and I'm always tempted to buy it even tho I'm usually too broke to . # baddie on a budget”

  “I regularly visit this branch, as well as the ones in Cheltenham and Bath. Unfortunately, the quality of sushi at the Gloucester branch has declined recently. The sushi was made to order, but if I had seen what it looked like beforehand, I would have realised it wasn't going to be good. I ordered several boxes of sushi to share with my family, but the quality and taste were disappointing. The sushi rice was overcooked, overly sticky, and lacked the necessary hint of vinegar that good sushi rice should have. The salmon and tuna sashimi were not fresh; I even found a bone in one piece of salmon and a large, inedible chunk. After trying a few pieces, we couldn't stomach it anymore, decided it wasn't safe to eat and had to throw everything away. In the past, when the sushi was delicious, it was prepared by East/Southeast Asian staff who clearly understood how sushi should taste. I am extremely disappointed and, sadly, will not be returning for a while.”
