  “This could have been my best experience ever. The servers were so kind and wholesome(Felipe in particular). Food came extremely quickly, even though it was busy, and the atmosphere was perfect. I can not recommend a restaurant more than I recommend Settebellos. Thank you so much for the service and food you provided me and my family.”

  “We visited Settebello to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary, but unfortunately the whole experience was extremely disappointing. First, we waited 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table and take our order. We ordered two cocktails, one cola for our son, three starters and three main courses. The cocktails arrived after another 20 minutes, but the waitress had forgotten about our son’s cola, which finally arrived 10 minutes later. Thirty minutes later, we finally received our starters, but only two of them. Mine had somehow disappeared. After waiting another 10 minutes, we were informed that my starter had been forgotten and that I could have it together with my main course instead. In total, we spent an hour and a half in the restaurant, and my wife and son managed to eat only their starters. We eventually decided to leave. I am genuinely shocked and disappointed. This restaurant completely ruined what should have been a special celebration of our 17th wedding anniversary. I would strongly advise people to avoid this place.”

  “Can't fault this place. Everytime myself and my husband have eaten there the food, service and ambiance has been exceptional. On our last visit my seabass main wasn't quite warm enough so I asked for it to be warmed up and they brought me a whole new meal. My husband had the braised ox cheek with pasta which was exceptional and the parmesan truffle fries were so good. The red wine and Italian lager was also good and went down a treat. Would highly recommend!”

  “The excellent culinary standards of Settebello are known throughout the world. In fact (really?) they attracted the great Italian banking families during the middle ages. The Medicis, Bardis, and Peruzzis frequently travelled from Florence to enjoy a plate of the finest pasta. It's said that double-entry bookkeeping was devised by someone enjoying a wonderful Carbonara. Private jets were never seen landing and taking off from the nearby Staverton Airport as aeroplanes ✈️ had yet to be invented. The bankers had to sail ⛵️ across whenever they fancied a munch. Settebellos is set in the delightfully aesthetic Gloucester Quays area, those Italian ships could drop anchor almost at the door.”
