Customer Review Summary
Staff behaviour at the counter is the most repeated complaint, especially on late shifts and around delivery orders. One reviewer describes couriers shouted at and refused their orders after asking where they were, calling it possibly a racial incident, and another says a night worker shouted offensive language and seemed discriminatory. A delivery customer reports an app order marked ready that arrived cold after a long wait while staff served walk-ins, and another says a manager told them to get out. Food draws mixed reactions: the Zinger rice bowl had chicken that wasn't crispy and cold charred sweetcorn, the caramel crunch milkshake was too sweet, and one reviewer found the chicken drowning in oil. One reviewer reports an expired gravy portion and another pink chicken. Order speed gets praise, though uncleared tables and full bins are noted, and the reviewer who mentioned the pink chicken still received a free milkshake.

“One of the gravy portions was actually expired in 2014, as shown in the picture. The food was extremely greasy, and I genuinely couldn’t believe that gravy could supposedly stay fresh for 100 years! Especially as someone who also works in the food industry, I was genuinely shocked by this. They also told me that after 7 pm, they don’t provide trays for eat-in customers because it’s supposedly company policy. On top of that, access to the toilets on the second floor was blocked off with a barrier gate, which was very inconvenient for customers.”

“Our order was prepared quickly. Nice place but they seemed short staffed as quite a number of tables hadn't been cleared. There were trays with leftovers on some tables. The bins were also full... otherwise it's a nice place to grab a quick bite.”

“I appreciate that the disabled and parent-and-child toilet is kept locked to prevent misuse. Unfortunately, the customer service from the lady wearing the hijab at the counter was disappointing. I was with two toddlers and politely asked if they could use the toilet, but I was simply told to go upstairs. I explained the situation and was happy to wait while one or two customers were served, but instead of listening, she became dismissive. It was only after the situation became heated that she called a colleague. It was clear she couldn’t handle the pressure. I understand it was busy, but that’s not an excuse for speaking to customers like that. A calmer and more respectful approach would have resolved the situation without any issue.”

“The manager is this kfc is shocking. Hides behind her staff then pops up eventually and tells you to get out. Thankfully the security can put the orders together and got my food in the end. Absolute joke and not the first time I’ve seen this “managers” shocking customer service first hand. Will never be back.”

“Last night at just after midnight, my friend and I went to get some food. It was busy, however I was absolutely horrified at the way 2 staff members spoke to 2 "just-eat" delivery men! There must have been 60 people waiting for food, so i appreciate staff may have been stressed (thoughjudging by their pace they didnt seem to be in any hurry) One of the men in particular, was publicly shouted at by a female member of staff. Another female member then came from the kitchen area verbally attacking him as well- both of whom tried to humiliate him in front of 50-60 people, all because after 15-20mins of him patiently waiting to collect the order, he asked them where the order was. They then refused to give him his order to deliver, so he wasted 30 mins of his time. About 10 mins earlier, the first female worker did the same with another food courier, refused to give him the order all because he asked where it was! May I add, both occasions, the food courier men were of black origin. Had I had battery on my phone, I would have recorded the incident and reported it, as I really felt it was very very unprofessional, and dare I say, possibly a racial incident. For the record, I am a white british male. I really hope that management see this, watch the cctv and hopefully fire the two awful women who played god with 2 guys simply trying to do their job in delivering. Shame on you KFC for employing these people..”
