  “Place was clean, my curry burger was interesting and tasty. It just happened to be a 2 for 1 Tuesday so saving 15£ on an entree was a nice bonus that day. And the beer was cold. What what could you need?”

  “Food was absolutely delicious 😋 Even thought my husband was disappointed there was no steak pie left 🤣 Had a lovely time here with family and I'm sure we'll return again 😊 If memory serves me this is the ultimate Sunday roast 😋 Cheese cake for desert 😋 Delicious 😋”

  “My friend Sharon and I come here regularly for lunch and some drinks, we have also attended events hosted here. The service and atmosphere is so relaxed and on sunny days you have the option of sitting outside in the sunshine. The food is lovely and nothing is a problem Would highly recommend and a special shout out to Sam who has been a true asset to the place.”

  “Had my Mothers funeral buffet here yesterday. The staff, John and Nicole were very accomodating, friendly and considerate. The buffet food was excellent, this was reitereted by all who attended. The buffet was also well presented. The welcoming and cosy atmosphere allowed us all to relax and spend time together to celebrate Mums life. Thank you 🙏”

  “Booked the Pheasant for a larger group dinner. Everything was great - table setting was beautiful; service excellent and the food delicious. We all had a really nice evening and would definitely book again”

  “1st time been here for food I highly recommend going here its beautiful decorated inside and feels so homely with all the xmas decs definitely been lot of effort put in and the service from staff was brilliant food was very tasty will be back again soon”

  “Very disappointed, been before had nice meal but this time………waited half hour for starters the 4 bon Bon’s arrived with some poor looking lettuce leaves then waited another 20 minutes for the steak pie and a salt n chilli chicken burger Steak pie came with mashed potatoes which had either been microwaved or sat under a hot lamp for too long, the seasonal veg was a sprinkling of peas and the steak pie has changed dramatically in size since the last time were there small portion large price The chicken burger was very greasy in fact half of it was left and the onion rings we ordered came halfway through eating our mains. To be fair they gave us them on the house. A very disappointing visit.”

  “Service was excellent. Food was okay but portion sizes not so good for the price, needed more chips and more veg. The steak pie was not a pie, it was steak stew with a hat.”

  “This establishment is divided into two sections. One side is the bar, the other is the restaurant. The bar is a little noisy but it was a Friday night. So we came into the restaurant and found it to be a lovely place. Staff were really friendly, the meals were delicious and everything was really cheaply priced. If back up in Scotland my fiancé and I will definitely call in here again. Highly recommend.”
