Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the waiting staff, describing servers as friendly, lovely and polite, and several credit one waitress with making birthday, date night and Mother's Day meals feel welcoming. One describes playing rock, paper, scissors with a server to decide desserts, and another says a delayed order was quickly sorted out. Food is called tasty and fresh, with a Caesar salad and a cherry cooler named as highlights, and one reviewer suggests the old fashioned from the cocktail list. The complaints are sharper. One diner on a discounted pizza deal was refused a booth in a near-empty room, was told a spicy margarita could not be made and that there was no salt for a salted rim, found three tables dirty on arrival, and called the Caesar salad not a Caesar. Another found the pizza and pasta overpriced and a gluten free garlic bread so hard it was inedible, though the waitress said she would pass the feedback to the chef.

“Myself, Wife and Daughter have had a lovely tea time meal this evening at Gainsborough Prezzo. From start to finish the customer service was 10/10. The staff are friendly, have time to have a chat, give excellent recommendations and play a very good game of rock, paper , scissors for desserts . I eventually won Izzy our amazing waitress after several rounds lol. Sadly the air conditioning at the restaurant is not currently working, all the staff including the chef's are working very hard in difficult circumstances. The food ordered came in good time and we very tasty. All the drinks where quickly delivered. Quick tip; they make a very good "old fashioned" which is on the cocktail list. The restaurant was clean, and tidy. Tonights visit for a very respectful 9/10 and we would thoroughly recommend a visit. All tips are shared between the staff, so give generously. They are worth every penny. Well done Prezzo Gainsborough. See you again soon .”
