Customer Review Summary
Prawn toast and sweet and sour chicken balls come up most, with one reviewer calling the prawn toast the best they have had, while another found both overcooked and blamed a kitchen that seemed to incinerate anything deep fried. Several reviewers say the food stayed good after the recent change of management, describing it as hot, tasty and generous in portion, with a speedy collection and a polite delivery driver. The curry and sweet and sour sauces also earn praise. Complaints centre on value and slips in service. One reviewer says portions shrank, roast meat vanished from a chow mien, bbq sauce cost extra, and the lemon chicken was bitter with slimy noodles. Another was charged £9.40 for a small chicken and mushroom chow mein and found the server rude. A third received sweet and sour instead of the curry sauce and was told to bring it back, even after explaining they were ill and had ordered delivery. A Saturday night delivery was slow, though that reviewer expected it. One reviewer also received free prawn crackers.

“We ordered over the phone and collected in person on Saturday night - food was a super speedy 15 mins and delicious! Particularly the prawn toast, which was the best prawn toast we’ve ever had by far. Definitely will be returning!”

“Great food, excellent service. Delivery took a while but we expect that when it's a Saturday night. Will definitely order again!”

“This has changed hands recently. I ordered my usual roast chicken and pork with bbq sauce chow mien. It had no slices of roast chicken and roast pork that used to get and had to pay extra 80p for bbq sauce 🤔. Prices are up but portions are down. Plus charged to deliver in Titchfield which used to be free. Lemon chicken was so bitter and acidic not at all enjoyable and noodles were soft and slimey. Very disappointed. But did get free prawn crackers which was a good touch.”

“As a long time customer of Jade Palace, I must say the change in management did not change the quality of the food! Had a delivery today that arrived swiftly, handed over by a lovely polite gentleman. The food itself was piping hot, great portion sizes and tasted absolutely delicious! The sweet and sour sauce as well as the curry sauce were top notch, and the chicken balls were also very tasty. Thank you for some brilliant food as usual :)”
