“This was my first takeaway from Mandarin place, and unfortunately it will also be my last. For £28, we received very dry ribs, a beef curry, and two dishes that looked like chicken and prawn fried rice and they tasted the same. We ordered Option B for two, which was supposed to include crispy shredded chicken with special spicy sauce, but I couldn’t even tell which dish was meant to be it. I was really disappointed with the quality and the food didn’t match what we expected from the menu. Maybe I was just unlucky, as some of the other reviews are positive, but based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend it.”

“Absolutely brilliant! Was my first visit back since the re-open and I was delighted at how welcoming the lad was. He helped me figure out what I wanted and included a bit of banter too! Lovely stuff. I can recommend the Mandarin House to anyone who wants a brilliant chinese and a brilliant experience in person.”
