About Ed's Easy Diner
Ed's Easy Diner serves American food at Unit 60A in Ellesmere Port, with 1950s-themed decor throughout the room. Milkshakes, made thick and creamy, anchor a menu that also runs to burgers with a choice of sides, plus a big breakfast and a kids breakfast. The entrance is step-free, suiting visitors with mobility needs, and high chairs are available for families with young children. Outdoor seating adds extra room to eat, and a takeaway option covers those eating off site. The diner opens daily, and staff greet and seat customers on arrival. Reservations are recommended.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers anchor the experience at Ed's Easy Diner, with reviewers repeatedly praising juicy, well-seasoned patties and generous portions, including cheesy burgers and a classic chicken burger. Close behind, the milkshakes draw consistent enthusiasm, described as thick and creamy, and breakfast comes up often too, with the big breakfast and even the kids' breakfast called massive and satisfying. Several also single out the waffle fries as a highlight. The retro 1950s decor and welcoming staff, greeting and seating diners quickly, are mentioned again and again as adding to the relaxed, nostalgic feel. One recurring caveat is pacing, with one reviewer noting service was friendly but a bit slow at times, and another questioning whether the burgers' taste justified the price even while enjoying them. Multiple diners describe returning after a first visit to confirm the food held up, with one specifically coming back weeks later to make sure an excellent breakfast "wasn't a fluke.

“The tastiest food and the loveliest staff !! My boyfriend and I came here for our two year anniversary as we have always wanted to try something 50’s themed, and Ed’s was amazing. We both got burgers and the portions were really good, you get to pick the sides too. They were absolutely delicious. The staff that worked there were very welcoming and kind too, which made our dining experience even better. I would recommend anyone who visits cheshire oaks to come here !! Thankyou Ed’s diner for making our two year anniversary special🫶💗”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
