  “I came here at Cheshire Oaks with family for my birthday, it's a fun place with amazing food and great staff and service. We were asked about allergies and with one having a dairy allergy it was nice for them to have a good choice of food and milkshakes. Really enjoyed it, thank-you Millie for the great service.”

  “Saturday 25th July 2026 Cheshire Oaks. We were greeted by a young guy who was very helpful (can’t remember his name sorry) but when he asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks we were shocked as this has never happened before, thank you buddy , also the guy that was tending to the tables was also really friendly and helpful and I hope he gets to retire soon. Thanks again lads for the great Eds experience”

  “Honestly some of the nicest food we've had for a while, can not fault a thing, servers were fast, polite and always ready to help people out. Food was fresh and ready within about 20 mins which is great when you have a child with autism, nice quiet environment even with ample diners chatting away. Milkshakes were unbelieveable, the only downside is we were unable to finish out food as we were so full!”

Featuring a feel-good rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack, neon signs, and shiny leather booth seating, it offers a fun, theatrical dining environment that makes a fantastic break from a heavy day of bargain hunting. ​The Highlight: A genuinely fun, nostalgic atmosphere that kids absolutely love, serving up some of the most indulgent, thick ice cream milkshakes you can buy. ​On the positive side, the comfort food hits the spot perfectly. The menu is a crowd-pleasing lineup of juicy burgers, loaded hot dogs, and crispy waffle fries. The buttermilk chicken burger is a standout choice—perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy within. ​If you are visiting earlier in the day, their big breakfast options are incredibly generous and act as the perfect fuel-up. Of course, you cannot leave without ordering one of their signature, hand-scooped milkshakes; served in the classic metal mixing tin, they are exceptionally rich, creamy, and easily large enough to share. The staff are generally upbeat, friendly, and great with families, and the convenience of ordering via the table QR codes makes the process very straightforward. ​The primary drawback comes down to speed and pricing when the outlet village is at peak capacity. On busy weekend afternoons, bank holidays, or during school holidays, wait times to be seated can grow quite lengthy. Once inside, the sheer volume of diners can stretch the open kitchen, meaning your food might take upwards of twenty minutes to arrive at your table. ​Additionally, because it is premium novelty dining within a major retail park, the final bill can add up quickly if you are ordering a full round of burgers, individual sides, and deluxe shakes for a larger family group.   “We had such a lovely time at Ed’s Easy Diner! The food was fantastic from start to finish. The Cheesy burger was absolutely delicious, the BBQ wings were so good I almost didn’t want to share them, and the nachos were a brilliant starter—the guacamole was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The portion sizes were spot on, and everything was great value for money. What really made the experience, though, was the staff. Abbie, Emma, and Millie were all so friendly, welcoming, and full of fun. They created such a great atmosphere and made us feel looked after throughout our visit. Customer service like that really makes a difference. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Ed’s Easy Diner to anyone looking for great food, fantastic service, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere!”

  “Visited for first time today. Ordered two lattes, the chocolate and caramel pancakes with chocolate & caramel sauce with squinty cream. Partner chose the breakfast. Coffees came relatively quick, could have been hotter. Waited 15 mins for food even though the diner wasn't busy. Partners breakfast ok he said, sorry no pic. Pancakes were huge and well presented, first thought, WOW. Unfortunately I was greatly disappointed. The pancakes were extremely dry, to the point they were hard to swallow even with the squinty cream to add moisture. I gave my partner some to try to get his thoughts, he agreed they were dry, (wasn't just me). The waiting staff did ask was the food ok, and I was honest and said they were dry. She asked did i want replacement or anything else and did i want to speak to the manager which I declined on all. Happier note, the atmosphere had a lovely vibe, the music and decor brought back memories of watching Grease and Dirty Dancing. Very nostalgic.”

  “Me and my daughter came for tea last night, and our server, Mike, was absolutely phenomenal. He was on front of house alone, the place was packed full, he was run ragged, but nothing was too much for him. He still kept his smile, his charm, and his great customer service. He was nothing short of amazing! Thank you Mike for a lovely experience. The chef was also lone cooking, but he still managed to send out everyone's orders on time, piping hot, and served to an excellent high standard. Hats off to the staff that night, you were all incredible , thank you! Definitely will be returning ☺️”

  “We came to Ed’s for our dinner this evening and was taken to our seats by a lovely bloke in a black Ed’s shirt, didn’t get his name, but he was an absolute delight. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed and he took allergies very seriously, as I have a gluten allergy. Which I have found to be quite a rare thing in other places that I’ve been to, it was a refreshing change to be accommodated for. The food did a little longer than expected, but with how busy it was and with what seemed like two floor staff, it was quite understandable in the circumstance. In saying that the food arrived hot and was tasted absolutely divine! Will definitely be eating here again whenever we are in Cheshire Oaks! Very well done guys!”

  “We tried another place first, and had an awful experience there with them being extremely unhelpful will our 4 year olds allergies so we left. Walked passed Ed’s Diner (Cheshire Oaks) and decided to pop in to ask if they could accommodate us. They were fantastic from the moment we walked in. Very friendly and welcoming team, they didn’t make us feel like a nuisance at all, they were really helpful with what he could have, they double and triple checked things to make sure he was safe, all whilst being very calm and happy. When we had our food, they ensured our bottomless drinks were filled before we even had to ask (it was very hot outside) and our food was lovely. Food, service, staff were all fantastic and we will certainly go again! Thank you.”

  “The tastiest food and the loveliest staff !! My boyfriend and I came here for our two year anniversary as we have always wanted to try something 50’s themed, and Ed’s was amazing. We both got burgers and the portions were really good, you get to pick the sides too. They were absolutely delicious. The staff that worked there were very welcoming and kind too, which made our dining experience even better. I would recommend anyone who visits cheshire oaks to come here !! Thankyou Ed’s diner for making our two year anniversary special🫶💗”
