Customer Review Summary
Sushi is the draw reviewers raise most, described as fresh, generously portioned and creative, with the California rolls, Tiger Rolls, Unagi Ube Rolls and sashimi named specifically. Close behind are the ramen, with chicken and beef versions praised, and small plates such as the miso aubergine, the ebi prawn lollipop made with a whole fresh prawn, and gyoza. The baked mochi cheesecake and pork ginger rice also earn mentions. Many describe the decor as transporting them to Japan, and the staff as welcoming, kind and attentive. One reviewer says food arrived quickly and service was efficient, while another suggests booking ahead because the room is bustling. The only complaint comes from one diner who felt the cleanliness of the facilities could use a bit of improvement, though they still called it a great experience. Several say they plan to return, and one finished the meal with the baked mochi cheesecake and already wants to try more of the menu.

“Been waiting so long to try this sweet little Japanese restaurant and it was worth the wait. The miso aubergine was a firm favourite, so simple yet full of flavour. The ebi (prawn) lollipop was also great, pleasantly surprised it was a fresh whole prawn instead rather than the expected mashed filling. The Tiger Rolls and Unagi Ube Rolls were both so tasty! Flavour combos worked so well. Finished off with the baked mochi cheesecake - delightful! Can’t wait to go back to try more from the menu.”
