Lost in Leith occupies a vaulted former storage space on Commercial St in Edinburgh, home of Campervan brewery's barrel-aging project. “We arrived early evening and were told we could use the front of the bar as there was a function and sat down. Over a 2/3 of a pint we were given a pie which was jerky inside and asked to move multiple times. If the bar is closed let people know - don’t treat us like foot muck because we came in the door”

“This was, without question, the most ridiculous bar experience I’ve ever had. I ordered two Hugo Spritzes at 19:18. There was no queue and nobody else waiting to be served. The bartender appeared completely confused, then suddenly disappeared into the toilet for around 10 minutes. He returned without so much as an apology and slowly continued making the drinks. I found it odd but waited patiently. Things only got worse. He repeatedly disappeared into the staff area, clearly struggling to make two very basic drinks. Other members of staff even came over to ask whether I had been served, as I’d been standing at the bar for so long. The drinks were finally handed to us at 19:56, a staggering 38 minutes after ordering. For two Hugo Spritzes. Throughout the entire experience there was no apology, no explanation, no acknowledgement of the delay, and certainly no gesture of goodwill such as a discount. To make matters worse, we were charged £21 for the two drinks, and they were genuinely some of the worst Hugo Spritzes I’ve ever had. If you don’t know how to make a cocktail, just say so. Making customers wait almost 40 minutes for two drinks in an empty bar, only to serve something that tastes terrible, is simply unacceptable.”

“I was recommended to drink here, I wasn't disappointed. Sunny afternoon so sat outside by the fountain nicely secluded while the world rushed by. Interesting inside as well, wanted to know what was stored here in years gone by. Tried a couple of ales both nicely kept. No food served but you can order pizza to your inside table on an app from the nearby Pizza Geeks, one of the best pizzas I've had in a long while. Only thing letting it down was the slow service at the bar which given how quiet it was let the experience down. That said I'll be back when I can, thank you.”

“Went here for a beer, plenty of variety available on tap. Other drinks are available including whisky. For food there is a pizza menu so pizzas get delivered, but that was quick & tasty.”

“Attended Liz Jones & Suzy Cargill gig part of the Leith Winter Blues Festival which was brilliant. Defo will go back to this Pub again.”
