Customer Review Summary
The amaretto cheesecake is the dish reviewers return to most, called unique and unforgettable and served with ice cream, and one diner plans to come back just to try it. Close behind is the seafood linguine, with fresh prawns, clams and mussels, while the tagliatelle, a pepperoni pizza topped with jalapeño, pan fried hake, veal in a creamy mushroom sauce and swordfish also draw praise. One reviewer calls the tiramisu light and sweet, though another did not care for it. Service gets consistent credit, with young servers described as friendly and attentive, and a late arrival and a walk-in party were both seated without trouble. The caveats are modest. One reviewer found the linguine portion on the smaller side and the soup of the day watery, and another thought the food decent but average next to the hype. One diner describes the owner going from the kitchen to waiting tables, bringing parmesan and pepper for their pasta.

“Decided last minute to come here as we were staying across the road for 1 night. We didn't have a reservation but they seated us no problem, even with being busy. Very polite and friendly serving staff. We had a garlic bread with cheese for starters, pizzas and lasagne for mains. Everything was absolutely delicious 😋. Just beautiful tasting food, I would highly recommend it to everyone!”

“Had a wonderful truly Italian experience. The food is very tasty and just as I remember from my many trips to Milan. The Caprese is the well known starter and these guys deliver. Tagliatelle to die for. Risotto beautiful. The young servers are first class. Cannot recommend enough.”

“We're looking for a family dinner on Saturday night. This is a great and safe option in the down town with normal audience. We had a pizza, two soups (minestrone), side salad, olives, the bill was 40 GBP per 3 persons (you have to add service charge on top). Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was nice. No concerns, classic Italian place.”

“Friendly atmosphere, great food. Sword fish is crispy, favorous and juicy; mushroom cream is interestingly rich. Finished zither a Tiramisu, delightfully light and sweet.”
