  “We went recently on a Friday evening, big mistake. Lots of small children celebrating family birthdays. But unfortunately not all of them were well behaved. It was rather noisy for our liking but as we were meeting up with family it was something we had to put up with.”

  “Had a lovely meal in here, brought family members from out of the area. They were also impressed. It was a warm evening and the music in the restaurant made us all comment that it felt like we were on holiday in Italy. Well done - will definitely return”

  “Very busy Italian restaurant, best is to make reservations. Even Monday evening totally booked. The starter caprese is excellent. Pasta carbonara soso, not the right bacon too much sauce. Tagliatelle was very good the lamb was ok. Red house wine was perfect match. Friendly people and ultra quick service. Prices are low and the portions are big.”

  “We went as a party of 5. The food was lovely. The only discrepancy I had was the cannelloni could of had a bit more sauce. Other than that the whole evening was lovely.”

  “Have nt been here for years. But it's still just as good. Friendly service and staff. Good choice on the menu. Parking round the back or on the street. Service was fast and efficient. Food was red hot and very tasty. Prices seem sensible pollo chocked dishes £15 most pasta dishes were around £10-12. Would recommend booking. And weekends get very busy. Book later for a quieter meal. Definitely going back. 4 stars for atmosphere due to it being very busy around 7pm Sat night.”

Trattoria Toscana boasts an authentically Italian vibe, complete with friendly, albeit no-nonsense staff who take their food seriously—so it’s wise not to mess around too much! The food here is exceptional. I had a calzone, which was wonderfully fresh, bursting with tomato flavor, and perfectly cooked. My wife enjoyed a pasta dish that was equally fresh and tomato-rich, showcasing the kitchen's commitment to quality and traditional flavors. The restaurant also did an impressive job accommodating dietary preferences, as they skillfully adjusted their menu to cater to a table with vegans and vegetarians. This level of service really highlights their flexibility and customer-focused attitude. Additionally, there was a birthday celebration at our table, and the staff brought out a cake, which was a lovely touch. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming, combining classic Italian culinary traditions with a friendly setting that doesn’t strain your wallet. Trattoria Toscana truly offers a delightful dining experience that celebrates both excellent cuisine and inclusive service, making it a must-visit for anyone in Doncaster looking for a taste of Italy.”
