  “Just visited for the first time. Had a lovely traditional Turkish maze. That was really tasty and filling. Lovely staff and lovely and clean. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.”

  “The food at this restaurant is excellent. We've been in England now for a month and this was by far the best meal we've had since being here. Two of the dishes that we had were truly exceptional. The first is a starter called Atom which is a yogurt dish combined with pureed eggplant served with the bread they make there which is also excellent. The second dish is called Yogurtlu Lamb Shish and is also delishious. My daughter tried it and she doesn't normally like lamb but said this was the first time that she liked anything containing lamb and she loved it. The staff was nice and friendly. We just had a great overall experience and can't recommend it enough.”

  “Been to the Taste of Istanbul several times now. Food always excellent; tasty, some of the best grilled food I’ve eaten. Well cooked and quality ingredients. Staff provide a friendly and help service.”

  “I have only ever hade food from here for takeaway so can't really comment on the restaurant itself but the food I can. It is alwqys delicious, tender, never a miss. Everything is gently seasoned but never under with a good portion to fill you up so very good bang for your money. As a friendly suggestion, dont go cheap on their turkish bread. It is honestly something weve been ordering extra since we first ate here for a very good reason.”

  “Very tasty, great service, we went when it was quiet but I imagine this must be a vibrant venue when it’s busy- recommended. Two adults, two children- we had the platter for four which was way more than we could manage so a doggy bag to take was made use of 😃”

  “Great food and service. Can recommend the Istanbul mixed as shown in the photo. The lamb and chicken were both tender and the rice nice and moist. We shared the baklava with ice cream, delicious 😋 Also priced very fairly. Looking forward to a return visit. Worth noting that your table is available for 1hr 45, more than ample time really.”

  “We have had a few meals here over the years and mostly they have been good. Visited a couple of weeks ago and the food was on point. Tasty and good quantities, although the service was a little rushed and we didn't get our bread even though I asked three times for it. This is definitely not an expensive kebab shop as I have seen some suggest. If they could give a better idea of what some of the things are on the menu (maybe pictures) it would help. Worth a visit? yes! What we choose: Hot Meze Platter for starter Yogurtlu lamb Yogurtlu Chicken Hummus Lamb”

  “First time visititing this establment and found it was good value for money on the order and staff seemed friendly. Its a small sized restaurant which i can imagine gets very busy in the evenings and to note the one toilet was clean. I most likely would visit again if I was in the area. One downside would be lack of parking as we had to park down in the highstreet open car park and walk. Recommend”

  “Absolutely outstanding. From food to hospitality, this place is incredible. The owner Sharef goes above and beyond to make your experience and night out terrific. I can not fault this place and i cant thank him enough. Ive been suffering with a bad back from an injury and he made me comfortable (as in pain) and welcome on my birthday. I just can't fault it, I would give 10* if I could. It was my first trip out after a month, the service was quick too. Just brilliant.”
