  “I went to the "Three Blackbirds Inn" today for a sunday roast, and i was amazed by the service, we ordered drinks and it took 10 minutes too come to us, we was called up for our dinner relatively quick, the atmosphere made for a really cozy place for dinner with family, its very easy to get to as well, Overall I really enjoyed the experience the staff were able to meet every request i had. 10/10 would go again.”

  “I had a lovely time at the three blackbirds my server was a waitress called Amelie who was absolutely perfect making my experience there really enjoyable and fun as well as sorting our food requirements as well as being quick with taking and giving our orders. The food here is amazing and I will be coming back x”

  “First time ever I've been disappointed. Had a table booked, arrived early and was seated straight away so that was no problem. Only after ordering drinks were we told that there was an hour wait for food. We left after paying for the drinks but had we known upfront, we wouldn't have ordered at all”

  “5 of us in work on a 12hr shift, craving a sunday lunch so we ordered online. After UberEats delivered half our food to someone else (confirmed) - we went to Three Blackbirds and Joey couldn't have been anymore lovely. He was so apologetic even though it wasn't his fault and he replaced the takeaway meals immediately. All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food, and we were stuffed! Thank you Joey and team x”

  “Booked a table for four for lunch on Monday. Had super service from Storm who served us drinks and looked after us Excellent food served fresh We will definitely return. Diolch yn fawr iawn Storm (By the way they serve Bass there as well)”

  “Dropped by this morning for breakfast had our 2 year old with us. Breakfast was better than expected! All grilled instead of fried. Excellent price. Staff great!. Looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommend”

  “Ordered a mixed grill and specified for steak to be cooked as rare as possible. Whilst waiting, a manager asked me to move tables, claiming it was booked. After a good half hour I inquired if my food was still coming out (since I had been moved) and the staff looked confused as if it's normal to be waiting so long. After over 45 minutes the manager brought out the most overcooked dry meat you could imagine and apologised, not for the wait, nor the horrid food, but said she wouldn't have made me move tables if she knew I had ordered food... so there was in fact no booking they simply didn't value my custom enough to allow me to sit at the front”

  “I had a fantastic experience at The 3 Blackbirds in Cwmbran. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a lovely rustic charm. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious – cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. I ordered two plates of classic fish and chips, each with a large piece of golden battered fish, thick-cut fries, and a portion of green peas. We also shared a bowl of loaded fries topped with crispy bacon bits, melted cheese, and green onions, plus a gravy boat filled with rich peppercorn sauce for extra indulgence. Generous portions and great taste all around! If you’re in Cwmbran and looking for a great place to eat, I highly recommend The 3 Blackbirds. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

  “After school meals with my 2 grandsons booked at 4pm on a 40% off Mains (with Reward app) from today until Thursday. Not too many to our left on entry & 2/ 3 tables occupied inside in main area. Approx 10/15 minutes after arrival i ordered our food - Chick n Mix, Steak & Chicken Combo & Hunters Chicken + 3 pints Blackcurrant Squash. Approx 30/40 mins later our food was served from which the fries mushrooms had to be replaced along with the chips on the Hunters Chicken meal as they were cold. I tried my Peas & they too were cold but I didn't bother reporting it. The couple on the table adjacent to us also had to have their fries replaced as they were cold. Did they have enough kitchen staff??? Who knows but on the 5 meals I was aware of, food was served cold. My youngest grandson had "piping hot food" so he was happy. Hopefully any issues they had today will be resolved as I am there tomorrow with a friend, hopefully dining on hot food. Staff as always, very friendly & obliging (hopefully more kitchen staff available tomorrow)”
