Customer Review Summary

Reviewers consistently single out the sourdough toasties, along with wraps and cakes, as the standout draw at this Cromer cafe. The coffee is repeatedly praised, and several mention the rocky road and cheese and onion chutney toastie by name as memorable bites. Diners describe a friendly, fast team and a relaxed atmosphere, with many noting the unexpected amount of seating tucked upstairs and around the back, sometimes in their own little corner. A few reviewers highlight small touches like water and glasses set out upstairs and a Connect 4 set to play with while waiting. The only recurring trade-off is the limited seating visible from the entrance, which several say is solved once you discover the extra rooms on other floors. Most agree the food is excellent and many say they will return on their next Cromer visit, with one reviewer calling it their number one Cromer choice. Several mention being made to feel welcome, even when ordering more than they planned, because everything looked too good to skip.

“Really friendly, fast service, great food and reasonable prices. Lovely and clean, lots of seating in different rooms on different floors. Water and glasses available upstairs. We had iced latte, cheese and onion chutney toastie, cod goujon wrap and rocky road, very tasty. We will definitely return when next in Cromer.”
  • Warren T
“What a lovely place to spend an afternoon. Amazing food, great team and wonderful atmosphere. Dog friendly too! Nothing is too much to ask. We even got to sit upstairs in our own little room. Everything looked very tasty so we naturally had to order more than we needed so we didn’t miss out on anything. We ate it all though! I knew I recognised the name too, it’s an all too familiar postcode, like home from home. The next time we visit we will definitely be back.”
