  “The food was uneditable, there was literally zero taste and the chicken was that chewy I nearly choked. Satay was like water absolutely horrible. The price would need to reflect the standard of food and I have to say that’s the most expensive Chinese I’ve had in a long time- and the worst! I am not fussy but I could not have ate it nor anybody else in the house. Used to be a decent Chinese sad that it’s got this bad.”

  “Put an order in tonight total of £95, part of the order was missing, phoned in again told me that I would have to pay for it again. Then the food itself the chicken was like plastic and the noodles were hard. Very very rude on the phone. Will most definitely not be back, neither will the rest of the family.”

  “Total rip off, sneakily added £1.50 onto bill at end of meal and when asked about the incorrect bill they said it was for the tap water we got as they have to pay water rates!!!!! Food average and portions were the size for kids but prices of a mid-top restaurant. It was more like seats in the middle of a take away than a proper restaurant as advertised, even staff were casually sitting down eating take away beside us in between taking orders. Even after stating our concerns we were faced with an attitude from staff. I would recommend avoiding at all costs and I won’t be back ever, the previous owners ran a much superior place.”

  “Used to he my favourite Chinese. And has just went to the dogs. I dunno whether they've a new chef but the food is horrible. Chowmein always tastes burnt or chemically. Then today went for salted chilli chicken it was like rubber. The rice was very dark and tasted dirty. And the curry sauce was just horrid. Last time I ever go here.”

  “Cannot believe the service I have recieved appalling still in shock, been using this place for the last 4 years , waited 40 mins on my order last night , then to get home give me the wrong order, phoned to say it was wrong and got a new order got sent out and wrong again. Then the shop had closed , phoned today just to ask to send me out a new meal out and then was told there was nothing they could do even tho they got the order wrong , manager would not even come onto the phone to me made me excuses the girl at the till to take my call, didn’t have the deficiency to answer the phone or apologise, I ask for my money back I was told no , I’m livid absolutely livid in my eyes if you get something wrong rectify it you got it wrong not me service 0”

  “Just ordered our first delivery from here , the food was on time, hot and of good quaility . One issue - we received Sinagapore / Special fried rice instead of Singapore noodles , tried calling them for 20 mintues no answer”

  “I ordered peking chicken with fried rice & chips last night. The peking chicken was lovely, sadly the chips were disgusting, while the rice was kept hot as the rice near the foil container was over cooked & dry. Very disappointed!!”

  “OK folks.... The former Peking management was without a doubt the best restaurant serving Chinese food in the surrounding area if not in all of northern Ireland ..but they're gone! Granted I tend to get only a few variations but I can honestly say that this is the only Chinese in Lurgan that I order from. My preference is Special sauce meal with fried rice and Salted Chilli beef starter..(the latter is almost a meal on it's own and fantastic value.) The only other Chinese I'd recommend in Lurgan is Yazu which seems to have closed and for quick standard takeaway with parking...the one at the M1 roundabout who's name escapes me.”

  “I had been a patron of the old restaurant for nye on 40 years and was never disappointed. This evening was my first visit under the new management, to say I was underwhelmed would be putting it mildly. I ordered a beef curry with fried rice takeaway. The order was fulfilled very quickly (within 5 minutes) the lady who took my order was Northern Irish and very pleasant and professional. When I arrived home I plated up my meal. The fried rice was light and fluffy with hints of fried egg but that is where it ended with regards to quality. The curry itself was a stodgy mess of over cooked beef, poorly tasting curry sauce and onions only! I mean to say, I know ingredients are expensive in these post-brexit times but surely a few pea's or mushrooms wouldn't make the difference between profit and loss. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and visit again but as of this evening I'm not a happy camper.”

  “From the new management took over they have ruined 50 years of excellent reputation. The curry is completely bog std the beef is not fried any more and the fried rice is tasteless along with the chips being frozen. What you gain in quantity you lose in QUALITY. Have Been going here for over 30 years but will not be back. Having spoken to a lot of friends they are of the same opinion. Please return to the old recipes to save the business.”
