Quick info
About The Mill
The Mill is a coffee shop in Craigavon at 21 High St, built around bagels with a large variety to choose from, including The Messi bagel. Parmesan and truffle fries come as a side to the bagels. The coffee list centres on a guest coffee bean blend and a range of hot and cold brew, so the drinks side stands on its own for anyone stopping in just for a coffee. A queue forms at busy times. Cold drinks go beyond coffee, with iced white chocolate matcha on the list.

Customer Review Summary
Bagels anchor The Mill, and The Messi is the one reviewers name most, with two calling it the best bagel they have had. Another pairs an Xmas bagel with Parmesan and truffle fries. The Brioche stack is singled out as the best food one diner tasted this year. Coffee comes close behind: the flat white is called on point, hot and cold brew are done very well, and a guest bean blend impressed one Australian visitor more than coffee back home. The iced white chocolate matcha and cold Mexican Cola also get praise, and staff are described as friendly and helpful, including with children. The main caveat is cost and volume. One reviewer found the coffee good but expensive next to nearby shops, with a cookie pushing the total up, and found the music too loud to hold a conversation, while others say the big portions justify the price. A long Saturday queue at 1pm did not stop one regular from praising how smoothly staff kept things running.

“So good we went twice! I was visiting family in Northern Ireland from Australia and ordered two flat whites. The server said he felt the pressure making coffees for two Aussies. He recommended trying the guest coffee bean blend from Liverpool, so we decided to get one of each. Now across our travels in the UK, the coffee scene hasn’t been great but by god both coffees were incredible and the guest blend was better than coffee in Australia. It was so good we went back the next day for another cup. Thank you!”

“Absolutely amazing had the Brioche stack, without a doubt the best bit of food I have tasted this year. Great food and service. Thanks”

“One of the best bagels I’ve ever had! Plentiful and tasty. Cold Mexican Cola is hard to beat also. Couldn’t leave with out a caffeine fix and I have to say the flat white was on point. Friendly staff and the parking at the back is handy as well. Will be back without doubt to try more of the menu 👌”

“We had such a lovely lunch! Our server couldn't have been more helpful if she tried and the food was absolutely delicious. The Mill has quite quickly become one of our firm favourites to frequent for brunch/lunch! Highly recommend.”

“The Mill is a very kitschy spot as it specialises in its bagels. The bagels themselves are consistently nice and there is a large variety of bagels. Other breakfast/lunch alternatives are also amazing food. Both the hot and cold brew coffee range is done very well and the menu is very accommodating for different preferences. Overall a very "cool" place to eat with a very relaxed atmosphere however the prace range is almost always £10-20 per person. Often, this price is worth it for the high quality food they serve.”
