About ENTRÉE STEAKHOUSE COVENTRY
ENTRÉE STEAKHOUSE COVENTRY is a halal steak house at 16a The Cooperative in Coventry, serving halal meat cuts across a menu that pairs steaks with other mains. The Tomahawk steak and the lamb chops sit among the meat dishes, and baklava is on the dessert list. A large selection of non-alcoholic cocktails and mocktails gives guests who prefer to skip alcohol plenty to choose from alongside their meal. Roadside parking nearby is limited, so visitors use Spon Street Car Park instead.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the wagyu sliders, praising the meat and sauce, with the steaks, tomahawk and lamb chops close behind. Several also name the shrimp tacos, chicken parmesan, barbecue lamb ribs and beef ribs, and the baklava draws praise for its honey and texture, though one finds it too nutty inside. Non-alcoholic cocktails and mocktails, including a bubblegum mango one, get repeated mentions. Service is described as welcoming and friendly, and the decor as modern and very instagrammable. The criticism is real and specific: two ribeyes were called flavourless, hard to cut and cold despite being ordered medium rare, one reviewer found the tomahawk too thin to render its fat, and another found the roast potatoes reheated and the mash dry. Some call the food expensive for the value, and one found the room loud like a nightclub. A reviewer who ordered the sharing platter was surprised when it arrived with chips in sauce rather than the chunky chips listed, and noted that parking nearby is limited.

“3 stars, but this can easily be a 5. First of all, the atmosphere is like a nightclub - Really too loud. Secondly, the menu is not entirely accurate. They have lile 5 different types of handcut chips on the menu, so when the sharing platter says "chunky chips", I don't expect them to be serving us chips slathered in a sauce. I asked the waitress, and she didn't say it was a mistake, she said "the platter is served with these chips". Had I have known, I wouldn't have ordered it. The chops were okay, depending on which chop you picked, the roast potatoes were reheated. Sauce was nice, but no crunch and completely dried out. Mash was dry, and needed way more butter. Tomahawk was okay, but nothing to write home about - Most places serve tomahawk too thin, so you can't render down the fat whilst keeping the steak from overcooking, and that's what happened here. I genuinely don't know where all the 5 star reviews are coming from, because this was not 5 stars at all.”

“Really enjoyed our experience at this halal steakhouse. The food was excellent and the service was even better. We were served by Kelvin, who was very friendly, polite, and well-mannered. He looked after us really well and made us feel welcome. We ordered the “Entree Big Boys”, and everything was delicious! The Tomahawk steak and lamb chops were full of flavour, while the beef ribs were incredibly tender and juicy. Everything was cooked really well and the portions were generous. There isn’t much roadside parking nearby. We found it easier to park around the Spon Street Car Park area and walk from there.”

“The customer service was very good and venue is aesthetically pleasing. We ordered Ribeye steak (medium rare) which I believe wasn’t freshly made as it was cold, it also has no flavour making it taste bland. The chips saved the day….Overpriced for the value.”

“Amina was so welcoming and had bubbly high energy whilst serving us. She recommended the best options for us to eat here and I would recommend here to anyone. She was the best and had the best energy . 10/10 food and this is my third time here🤍”

“Got the chance to visit today. We had the Dynamite Shrimp Tacos, Lamb Chops for starters. Starters were just succulent and melted while eating, the Chops looked like they weren’t going to hit, but as i broke into them the meat inside was amazing and soft yet the flavours came through. Chicken Parmesan & Swiss Butter steak for Mains. The last time i had a Swiss butter i was abroad and was hesitant but this once was 10/10 defo recommend this one, had a cheeky bite of the parmo & that’s a hidden treasure with those parmo flavoured chips. Recommend these items on your visit, staff are welcoming & veryy friendly. All round 10/10”
