  “Stoped for a fish and chips meal before continuing my journey. The restaurant offers dine in or take away. The staff is nice and the service goes fast. The food is good. The restaurant is clean and it has 2 upper levels for eating. It's close to the quay, the castle is 5 minutes walk away. The High Street with nice local shops is just arround the corner.”

  “Fisherman’s Chip Shop is in a good location, right by the castle and the sea, in the Welsh town of Conwy. Having heard good things about their gluten-free fish and chips, I decided to give them a try. The interior is pleasant and has a seating area and some stools to sit on while waiting for food. The gluten-free menu is limited, unfortunately there aren’t any sauces such as gravy or curry sauce, it’s pretty much just fish and chips, the only other side was peas, I have heard from others that gluten-free isn’t always offered at busier periods, and during my experience they had to check they were still doing it, I feel this is a huge negative, while I understand they may need the extra frier during peak times, I feel this should be consistently communicated to avoid wasted visits. The fish was really good; it was excellent quality, the batter was crispy, and I really enjoyed it. It would come apart with my fork; there was no need for a knife. The chips, however, could be better and were slightly overcooked. I also would have preferred a more solid box for the fish and chips, which would help retain heat better and make it easier to eat. The food seemed to go cold rather quickly. I did find it to be a little pricey; my food came to £13.90. I wouldn’t say it was good value for money, as I’m used to getting more food for less at chippies closer to home; it seems the seaside location comes with a premium. Overall, Fisherman’s offers some of the best fish I’ve had in a long time; hopefully, they can work on their gluten-free options going forward to increase the consistency and the overall selection as right now everything else feels like a work in progress.”

  “Amazing fish and chips! Absolutely delicious. Try the haddock or the giant sausage - you won't regret it. The prices are good as well. You can grab and eat it down at the marina bay.”
