About The Old White House
The Old White House is a family-run pub on Bangor Rd in Conwy, open Friday to Sunday and closed the rest of the week. Friday evenings bring bingo, and no food is served that night. Saturday runs a full menu, with fish and chips among the dishes and three-course meals that include desserts. Sunday lunch is a roast, with a vegetarian option. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden but not inside the pub, so walkers with a dog have somewhere to sit. The pub is about a 15-minute walk down a country lane from Conwy town, and the number 5 bus stops nearby.

Customer Review Summary
The Sunday roast is what reviewers raise most, described as delicious and incredible, with a vegetarian option and generous portions that several say come at a good price. Close behind is the staff, repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, along with the relaxed atmosphere. Diners also mention three-course meals, excellent beers and the outside seating area, where dogs are welcome though not inside the pub. Several say the value for money stands out, and one plans to make it a local while staying at a caravan. The one criticism comes from a reviewer whose fish and chips wasn't the best, though they still found the portions honest and the service very nice. Some visitors describe walking to the pub from Conwy town down a country lane, and one rang ahead the day before because weekends get busy. One reviewer left with a very happy belly after the Sunday roast.

“Such a fab little find on our weekend to Conwy! A beautiful, family-run pub. We went for the Sunday lunch which was gorgeous - decent portions, choice and options for veggies. Very good value for money, too. We did ring ahead the day before as Conwy gets busy especially on weekends. You can walk to the pub from main Conwy town area - it's about 15 minutes down a country lane. There is also a bus (number 5) which doesn't stop far. We couldn't fault the staff and service. Everybody was kind and the atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommend ❤️”

“It's pretty good place to stop on the route to grab a drink and have some food. Our fish and chips wasn't the best to be fair but portions was honest and service was very nice.”
