  “Terrible service and don’t correct their own errors! 2 meals ordered chicken chowmein and chicken fried rice collection was 9 0clock so we were fairly hungry waiting for collection time. Arrived ( it’s cash only on collection) take away was ready and handed over in plastic bag.. I was driving and nearly home when I received a call from unknown mobile number on answering it was the girl from Chinese to tell me she’d received a call from a lady who collected before me who had ordered same meals. She stated this lady had rang when she got home to say she had 2 chow mein. She advised me I must have 2 chicken fried rice! She then asked me to check and if I did could I take one back and she could swap it for the chow mein the other customer was returning!! I said I would check and let her know however I said I wasn’t bringing one back and having a meal that had been sold and opened by another customer and if I had to come back the time to travel would mean other meal would be cold if we wanted to eat together. I said I wanted both meals freshly made to which she advised me they wouldn’t do that it would just be swapped over .. I was annoyed at this point that it wasn’t my error id driven up once to collect food id paid for and if they order was wrong food which they had mixed up as a bare basic customer service they should offer new food to myself and other customer not a swap over and I pointed out the extra fuel and time we wouldn’t be eating til after ten. She went to speak to manager and returned to say only a swap would be done I wasn’t happy and told her to tell manager if I came back it would be for a refund: phone went dead: I got home opened cartons and we did have 2 chicken fried rice. I rang take away restaurant and they weren’t answering phone!! .. I tried 5 times and they weren’t answering .,absolutely disgusting service and behaviour from restaurant. I was so angry and disgusted with there attitude by this stage, I’m a paying customer it was there own error. I didn’t bother to take it back we binned the food and had a dominos delivered: will never use them again. I can’t say anything positive about my experience and if I could give minus stars I would.”

  “It was my first time to try out this new Chinese takeaway. I had very simple dishes, the special fried rice could have been hotter, chicken balls and curry sauce were fine. To give a fair appraisal, I'd need to try it a few more times, but there was nothing wrong with it, apart from warm rice. I'll try it out again and maybe revisit the review.”

  “We’ve ordered a few times from here and although a lot of the dishes were lovely some just didn’t hit the spot. The crispy beef in honey chilli sauce, was rather watery and tasted more like sweet chilli and also the Singapore noodles didn’t have the spicy kick we expected but the prawn toast was super filled and the Peking ribs were very tender”

  “Never tried here before & will never try again. Ordered duck in duck sauce. Sauce was watery & grey! No taste of anything like plum sauce. Loads & loads of onions. For £12 this was a disgrace. Cant find decent Chinese in or around Consett. Seriously considering if I should move back to Newcastle!”

  “Just had a lovely takeaway delivery this evening. The food was delicious and piping hot. The only thing is the portion of chips were missing so the curry sauce stood alone! 😔 Never mind I’ll look forward to next time with chips! X”

  “I don't usually do reviews but this is so well deserved. We have just had our best ever Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Crispy Shredded Beef with Rice and Chips. Absolutely beautiful.”
