Customer Review Summary
Complaints about the meat and the sauces dominate what reviewers describe here. Several single out toughness: one describes bbq spare ribs that arrived dry, nearly meatless and "as hard as leather", another found the chicken and pineapple tough and the salt and pepper ribs overcooked, though that same diner allowed the egg fried rice was fine. Sweetness is the other recurring theme, raised over hot and sour soup and a beef with black bean sauce a camper nearby couldn't finish, while another reports sweet and sour balls in a sauce that had set like jelly and satay chicken in a gloopy sauce. One reviewer simply found the meal tasteless. Against that, a couple of returning customers praise the sweet and sour dish and a recent curry, and one kept the leaflet specifically because a veggie option was listed for every meal. Service draws consistent goodwill even from the critical: friendly counter staff and quick delivery. One reviewer sums it up as hit and miss, delicious sometimes and average the next.

“Just bought some bbq spare ribs, when I opened the box the ribs were dry and looked liked they had been cooked the night before, they had hardly any meat on them and as hard as leather. It’s a shame really because the food there is usually ok. However really disappointed and definitely won’t be buying from there again.”

“Just had beef black with bean sauce fried rice, on campsite just up road, I'll give it two stars for quickness and friendly delivery. That is where it stops, sauce ok, pepper's ok but beef was far to sweet, couldn't even finish it as I thought it was off, am sorry if only my taste buds but was bloody awful.”
