  “For the past 3 months every order appears to be precooked, chips overcooked & their cooking oil is terrible as noodle dishes have a terrible taste & chewable dough texture. In fact, our boiled rice had a mouldy taste so we dumped it right away. Due to their kitchen being hidden with only a small hatch door to process orders, it's impossible to view both cleaning & cooking standards but the Food Standards Agency provided them with a 3* Hygiene Rating. Food quality had been great for the past few years which is disappointing as we're now having to travel elsewhere. Reducing star rating from 5* to 2* as the food standards at Prosperous have dropped terribly.”

  “Stopped going here all together. I’m not one to complain or even write a complaint butttttt the food and service is just shocking. Salt & chilli chips soggy and bland. Gave the benefit of the doubt, but 3 times in a row I asked for “extra extra crispy” and got mush in a box. When I went back in I was the fella was giving me a blank expression and a shrug then told “it’s cos I was 5 mins late”, yet I every time I’ve sat and waited 15-25 mins ( past the original waiting time) and they’ve been exactly the same. On top of all that, It used to be, spend £25 and you get a free drink, ironically it’s gone up without telling anyone ( I get it with inflation, but how can you not let your weekly/fortnightly customers know) Haven’t been back, won’t ever be going back. Bit of advice, either save your money or go to Rasharkin Chinese they know what flavour is!!! Not to mention the chips are cooked to perfection.”

  “Got a salt and chilli chicken with a salt and chilli chip- absolutely no flavour, had to add seasoning at home. Also a honey chilli chicken, no flavour, very disappointed. Used to use this Chinese all the time a few years ago, came back on Saturday past and will never be back again.”

  “Always find prosperous house has substantially better flavour in their dishes. I choose between chicken black pepper, sezchaun chicken and chowmein. Smoked chicken is a must with any order.”

  “Have been in constant redial to place order for over 1hr.. Straight onto mailbox is full.. Considering we order quite a bit, I find this very frustrating as their food is sooo good. Please sort this out asap...”

  “i’ve got extremely bad food poisoning and i have been sick for 2 days,the chicken fried rice is killing me and was not fully cooked leading it to be dry,my friend order duck and got burned black dry duck. DONT BUY CHINESE FROM HERE!!!”

  “A good menu, highly rated for hygiene, we were excited to try out this inviting establishment but we were disappointed by the lack of punchy flavours we've come to expect from our favourite dishes. We'll not frequent again regularly until they've had a chance to work out the flavour issues that has cursed their foods thusfar.”
