  “Overall, my experience was truly wonderful. The food was incredibly flavourful, and every dish we tried was delicious. I had previously ordered from them for delivery and already loved the food, but this was my first time dining in at Chislehurst, and it exceeded my expectations. The service was warm and welcoming, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I will definitely be coming back soon to try more dishes, one at a time!”

  “We recently visited Giggling Squid and had a great experience. The starters were absolutely excellent—full of flavour and really well presented. Service was just as good: friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed. Overall, a really enjoyable meal. Would definitely come back.”

  “I haven’t been here for a while as I found the quality of the food has slipped over the last few years. However, went back for a friend’s birthday on Friday and was very pleasantly surprised! The food was good - much better than I remembered, and we enjoyed our shared starters and mains. However, it was the service that really stood out. From the minute we were seated, our birthday girl was wished happy birthday by the staff - a really special little touch that some restaurants don’t do much anymore. But it was our server, a girl called Sophie, who made our meal even more memorable with her excellent service. She said she’d only been there a few weeks, but she was exceptional. Oh, and the staff all came and sang happy birthday with pudding at the end of the meal which was just lovely! We really enjoyed evening and will very definitely be back.”

  “The service was delightful, the food second to none. Every mouthful bursting with taste. A starter was forgotten but as soon as the waiter was promoted it was with us within minutes. The restaurant was full but felt the service didn’t suffer. The had employed sufficient staff. As always the restaurants decor was beautiful.”

  “The food was fantastic. The service was very very slow. I understand they were quite busy and could have done with more staff on the shop floor but there is no excuse for keeping a customer waiting 30 minutes for a glass of water after placing a drinks order. At this price point they should be more staff on the shop floor”

  “Absolutely incredible restaurant, was kindly greeted by the manager who sat us, the menu here is insane, it took me ages to even choose a dish as everything sounded delicious. I was blown away by the flavours in every started/dish I tried, and by the cocktails too. It might honestly be one of the best meals I’ve had. I can’t fault this place at all, maybe it could benefit from a more lively environment, but I guess it’s in a family oriented area. The manager even went as far as offering us a free desert as compensation for a dish arriving late which we had to decline as we were too full, so he then went as far as reducing part of our bill as a good will gesture. I kindly left a tip and noticed him give the tip to the waitress directly which made me feel even happier. Overall amazing restaurant with genuinely good staff and great management. Would definitely visit again and recommend to all.”
