  “The food was beautiful every mouthful a pleasure. Service was fantastic Paolo was a great host the Champagne was topped up at every passing. The only thing I'd say is the music was slightly louder than needed (not to the point of it ruining the night) it was lovely”

  “Absolutely fantastic experience! Went for a meal on Friday night for husband's birthday. Booked the roof top terrace. Really nice atmosphere, lovely space and tables weren't too close together. Food was amazing. Service was brilliant. Although it wasn't cheap, it was worth every penny.”

  “My daughter and I had a wonderful impromptu night out at the Opera House Grill Chester last night. The experience was fab from start to finish. The dirty martini prawn cocktail was excellent, such a show stopper!! From start to finish every mouthful was perfect. Oysters were huge! Prawn cocktail was a work of art. The sea bass was delicate but delicious. And the steak with truffle Parmesan fries was immense!! 😍❤️ And don’t get me started on the cocktails!! our server was so friendly and informative. I enjoyed the experience so much I’ve booked again for Father’s Day!! Go on… Give yourself a treat… you deserve it”

  “Opera Grill Chester never disappoints. Although we arrived slightly late and were feeling a little flustered, every member of staff was incredibly understanding, welcoming, and accommodating. We had originally booked a table in the Music Lounge, but with two young children in tow, we quickly realised we had underestimated the noise level for our family. This was no problem at all for the team, who were more than happy to relocate us to another table without any fuss, making us feel completely at ease. We were delighted to have Clark looking after us once again, and immediately knew we were in excellent hands from start to finish. He is consistently professional, approachable, and helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and making the entire experience feel effortless. Clark went above and beyond by even assisting us with packing and moving the car seat — a gesture that was greatly appreciated and truly exemplified his exceptional level of service. The food was absolutely delicious, and even our 4 year old thoroughly enjoyed the beef roast and finished every bite! Thank you, Opera Grill, for another fantastic dining experience. The outstanding food, attentive service, and genuine care shown by the team are what keep us coming back. We look forward to returning again very soon.”

  “It helps if your guest is as wonderful as mine was. It certainly adds to the delightful experience we both enjoyed. The food is, I'll choose my words carefully, absolutely remarkable. The steaks were melt in the mouth magnificent, the peppercorn sauce was the ideal accompaniment. The side dishes were every bit as carefully prepared as the protein. Dessert 🍨 🥧....... forgive me but I'm salivating just thinking 🤔 about it. I had the sticky toffee pudding 🍮 (I know, that's a creme brulee, but there ain't a picture of what I had), the type of pudding which has to be savoured, not scoffed. Worth every penny. If you visit Chester you MUST dine at the Opera Grill.”

  “Fantastic Sunday lunch today. Stunning interior on the first floor. All the staff were fab, with especially excellent service from Bridget. We’ve been for drinks before; this was the first time dining. Highly recommended.”

  “Went here for a birthday celebration. What a fantastic meal. We shared the Korean chicken for starter and then had the Treacle and Black Garlic Steak Sharing Platter. The steak was absolutely delicious, the best steak I’ve had. We had a dark chocolate soufflé which again was perfectly cooked. We received a complimentary birthday cake which was a nice touch. The venue was great, relaxed atmosphere and stylish surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. We would certainly come here again.”

  “Food was incredible as always. Everything was spot on, everything was cooked perfectly. Service was top tier throughout attentive, friendly and made the whole experience feel special. Consistently one of those places that just gets it right every time and best foodie spot in Chester. Highly recommend.”
