  “I have been going to Akos for 3 years now and it used to be good. But they have a new staff normally on the middle chair who is really awful at his job. He cuts hair without any attention to detail. He made me look like a dork. He was shivering the whole time and didn’t even use a comb to make sure the hair was cut consistently. Never will I come back here again. Also this is 2025, I don’t know what’s with all these Turkish barbers who hide their card machine and refuse to take card payment. People like me use card to pay due to convenience, I don’t want to carry around lose change and as a business you should cater to customer needs. If you would want to go there make sure you locate an ATM and take some cash with you because one day they will accept card one day they won’t, it really depends on their mood.”

  “Avoid the barber in middle chair! After having several haircuts from Akos and being very satisfied with all my cuts I went for my monthly trim. I thought I would try the barber who sits in the middle chair a go as my usual barber was busy. The barber pretty much ruined my hair and beard, cutting way too much off. He was careless and rushed the cut, aswell as taking phone calls through out. I asked for a trim and he basically cut half my length off aswell taking chunks out of my beard. After leaving the barbers i went home to wash my hair and beard, I could seem the damage. My beard with butchered and blended so badly, for my fade it's seemed like a 0.5 all over. I went to another barber in the area who fixed both my hair and beard. He explained that the Akos barber went too deep into the beard taking too much off making it uneven. The fade had to be taken down to skin to make it look even. It's shame as the other 2 barbers in the shop are excellent, the one by the entrance and the one by the till. I won't be returning and will be using the barber who fixed Akos mistakes. It's takes one bad haircut to lose a regular customer.”

  “A genuinely great haircut. I live 70 miles from Carshalton but was In between appointments at the Royal Marsden so I called in for a haircut at Akos the guy was a very talented barber I wish I had asked for his name At £18 for a skin fade was quite reasonable especially for the time and attention to detail Well worth a visit”

  “I live really close and it's a one minute walking distance they serve perfect haircuts and don't ask for anything, I have been going there all my life and has never let me down. I always go for one guy next to the window because I like when he cuts it because after it looks good. (AWESOME BARBER)”

  “I've been using the Carshalton branch since they opened and Oz is my go-to barber but any of the other guys I've used have also been very good. Polite, friendly and good service and reasonable prices. It can get busy, but that's testament to them and it's worth the wait. Recommended”

  “Lived in Carshalton for years and always got my hair cut here, most of the original barbers are great. Moved away so occasionally come back to get my hair cut here but on my last visit the barber cut my hair too short, the fade on my hair was uneven all the way round and my hair looked terrible. Went back a few days later, to tell them as I had to get my hair cut sorted out in London again and the barber and his colleague was very rude and got so offended at the fact they he may have made a mistake when cutting my hair. I was not rude or aggressive and I did not demand my money back but still they were so offended and aggressive. Now I know why most customers choose to go with another barber other than him when I am there.”
