  “We were unfortunate to chose here to dine today. Shown to our table which was surrounded by tables which had not been cleared. Napkins, food & a couple of menus were on the floor (& weren't cleared up during our stay). After almost 20 minutes of no-one attending to us, I went to the bar to ask about the burger deal. That prompted the manager to approach our table. We went to order 2 pints of Madri only to be told no drinks on draught, only bottles. We ordered 2 half rotisserie chicken meals, only to be told no chicken available for 15-20 minutes! This was at 1.45!! Ordered burgers instead which took an age to come out. Meanwhile the food, napkins etc were still on the floor... Salad bar was ok. Chips lacked the sage & onion seasoning and the burger was just 'ok'. The buns were slightly burnt, so we left them. At no point did any of the 4 waiting staff ask if our meal was ok. Very disappointing! The female obviously knew some regulars and couldn't do enough for them. It was as though we were invisible. After visiting the ladies, I walked past more uncleared tables, bread rolls, menus napkins and more food on the floor, which staff just walked past. We wouldn't recommend and definitely won't return.”

  “This has to be the best Harvester I have been to in both Wales and England. Liam our server was incredibly friendly, professional and conscientious. Our food came promptly and everything ordered was delicious. We were a group of six consisting of meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. We would highly recommend and hope to go back for dessert.”

  “With a birthday coming up and a Harvester birthday celebratory offer on my app, what better than to book a table in Carmarthen for Sunday lunch time while on holiday. Or so I thought! Ordered drinks - they arrived in unopened bottles that we found almost impossible to open. Ordered food - had finished the complimentary salad from the salad bar when a junior member of staff (not our waiter) arrived to say that the chicken skewer I had ordered was not available because the chef had not taken them out of the freezer before leaving the previous evening. Apparently our waiter didn't know they were not available! Reluctantly chose an alternative, a lamb kofta, only to be advised that this was not available either. At which point we gave up, expressed our disappointment, left and went elsewhere. Seems we are not alone in having a bad experience. As at the time of writing, 40% of the reviews on Trustpilot are 1 star. Perhaps more accurate than Google reviews? Won't be rushing back to any Harvester. You have been warned!”

  “Standard of vegetarian burger was bad cold also chips were lukewarm i took them back to the servery myself moderate wait for second plate which was reasonably hot no apology given The staff on the whole did not appear to know who was responsible for what generally very disorganised used to enjoy going there as a family unfortunately will not be returning. In reply to your comment back of house issues should not on any account affect the running of front of house the cooking or the attitude of the staff”

  “It was quiet when we went but music was playing so that helped with the atmosphere. Helen was lovely, she severed us and was very attentive. Good was absolutely stunning. Haven't been to Harvester in a long time. We had the chicken skewers and I would highly recommend them.”

  “We took my Dad in on Saturday 20th June the day before Father’s Day’s…as he is in a wheelchair we needed a bit more room… they were extremely helpful and very friendly, accommodating 4 adults on a busy weekend. Food was excellent, salads very fresh… nothing too much trouble for them thank you to our server ( forgot the one name -young lad and Seymon as well ) thank you very much and see you again soon.”

  “Although the staff were pleasant and capable, the food did not live up to the high standards expected from the reviews of the Harvester. The fish, of the fish and chips, although looking enormous, was thickly battered. The chips were oven chips. The grilled chicken breast was small (compare it to the medium sized baked potato at its side) and overcooked, as were the peas in both meals, as you can see from the pale green colour in the photographs. Adding up to £34 for the two meals plus a large bottle of sparkling water we would’ve felt hard done by. Luckily, we had a 25% discount offer and that reduced the pain! The one highlight was the “free “salad bar, although the bowl given was very small!”

  “Staff were surprisingly good (Harry served us and we felt appreciated as customers). Food was fresh and we (as a family of 3) were pleasantly surprised by this Harvester. We usually go to the Lowestoft one at home which can be a bit "meh"! The salad bar was checked several times during our visit and refilled. We even won a bottle of space via their app game promotion they were running! Thankyou Harry and team for an enjoyable experience!”

  “Returning customers; As always, great food, quantity satisfactory, taste sent taste buds tingling. Service, well it was VERY busy, the busiest I think ive ever seen it. I think we got the last available table, with only 6 staff. 3 out front and 3 in kitchen. But they smashed it!!!! Fair play tò them they coped very well getting customers to order via the QR code at their table. Which was a lot easier than expected”

  “Friday the 27th of Feb, came in for food as a table of 4. Food was brilliant couldn’t fault it, came out of the kitchen fast and piping hot. The chef Sian (I think that was the name the servers said), did an amazing job there smashing orders. Thank you so much we all really enjoyed our mains & sides. Massive shout out to our server Morgan she was like a whippet running around making sure our table and others were all good. Harvester’s on the up !!!!!!!”
