  “Chips like cardboard. Chicken balls were so chewy I didn’t think I could get through them; and not sure where the chicken actually was. Curry sauce repeated on me. Rice was clearly reheated. Bad Chinese. Avoid.”

  “We had a dance competition at the weekend and decided we would just get a takeaway to take back to our hotel. Me and my wife both had the chicken ball box meal with curry sauce. It was very nice and also very cheap! I don’t think I’ve ever paid under £13 for a Chinese 😂 if we lived local we would definitely use again.”

  “First time trying pagoda and it was absolutely beautiful. Had the vegan salt and pepper chicken, chilli and garlic sauce with fried rice and veggie spring rolls. Delivery was quick and food nice and hot. Will definitely be ordering again”

  “After waiting around an hour and a half for this order, it took Uber to phone me and tell me that they couldn't find my address. I asked how, and they said they hadn't left the store yet, and didn't know how to type it into Google. After speaking with them and saying, if that's the case here's another address close by of a hotel, I'm sure they can find that and phone me for directions to my place from there. They said that's great let's do that. Then around 2 minutes later the order came through as refunded and cancelled, bearing in mind the time was past 11 by this point, where my options for any other meals were extremely limited due to their lack of care. Do not support these people, as they care little for you.”

  “Very disappointed with our takeaway this evening. Curry was like water, the rice was barely warm and both our meals pretty tasteless. It used to be quite good but sorry will look elsewhere in future!”

  “We ordered for the 1st time tonight and we won’t order again. Chicken balls were burnt and dry, noodles were slimy and the chicken main looked undercooked. (Although the sight put me off so I can’t say it was actually undercooked) We did have a beef dish which look and tasted nice, although the beef was a little tough, this dish was ok. Overall, it’s sadly a no from us for future orders.”

  “Ordering from very northern Cardiff and always had a good meal even with it being a new takeaway (you get so used to how previous go to takeaways do things). Lovely customer service across delivery and ordering, havent been in store but was quickly made our 'regular' Chinese takeaway. Portions are the usual larger than you expect, everything is great quality and was pleasantly surprised to see vegan/veggie options. Price point is brilliant and totally worth the try !!!”

  “We ordered the starter box, and to say the least it was terrible, cold, chewy and overall not very nice and all of us agreed, the prawn toast tasted like nothing, all of it was flavourless, bland and seemed like it was reheated. I won't be ordering from pagoda again! However delivery driver was nice & helpful as well as the person that took our order as we don't usually get it from pagoda.”
