Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the curry sauce, which several say is made in-house and differs from the usual bog standard version, with a hot option for those who want it. Close behind are the chow mein and chicken dishes, with praise for Kung Po chicken, Cantonese chicken, well-cooked rice and chicken balls that were not over battered or oily. One reviewer calls the beef unlike any other in a Chinese meal, and friendly staff come up repeatedly. Opinion is sharply split, though. Several reviewers say the food was a disappointment, describing grey, soggy chow mein, a watery bbq sauce, and a pancake roll full of beansprouts with no meat. Another found the curry sauce looked like gravy. One reviewer reports chips with an unpleasant tang and a foo yung light on egg, and a first-choice dish was unavailable because the noodles had run out. Some mention the shop's move to new premises, and a diner notes the order was ready later than quoted. The takeaway is cash only, which sent one happy customer to a cash point after collecting a piping hot meal.

“The best Chinese food available in my opinion, I've not tasted beef like it in a Chinese meal. Please please keep it going and use it. Breath of fresh air from a young family.”

“Worst takeaway ive ever had! Tasteless, chicken chowmain was more like stewed chicken ans beansprouts, pancake roll was bland, no meat just full of beansprouts. Will never order from there again. Disgusting most of it went in the bin”

“Staff are very kind, and food is of a good quality, not too greasy or soggy”

“Think I've found my new favourite Chinese in Caerphilly. The staff were friendly and the food was served in very reasonable time considering that they were busy with walk ins and telephone orders. When I got home I was extremely pleased with the food. Piping hot and extremely tasty. Will definitely be returning. My only disappointment was that it was cash only which meant I had to walk back to the car and drive to a cash point. Whilst I believe cash is king I still think it's nice to have the option of both cash or card.”

“This Chinese takeaway was very tasty, delicious chow mein which was juicy and the curry sauce from here is a standout as it's completely different from the usual bog standard curry sauce you get around the area. Well done and I will be back! From someone who has tried them all”
