“Ordered two lamb shish kebabs via Uber Eats. The items arrived with no sauces, despite the product image clearly showing chilli and garlic sauce. When I phoned the shop, I was told that sauces are not included on Uber Eats and are only provided for collection orders. I explained that the item image displayed both sauces, but I was told this was “for advertisement only” and that sauces must be added for an extra £1.10. But yet the description also states you get sauce! The staff member also commented that they “can’t read minds” and that I should have written in the comments if I wanted sauce — an unnecessary and unprofessional remark. They also claimed sauces aren’t included because of allergies. However, this doesn’t make sense, as providing sauces in separate pots allows the customer to decide whether to consume them. Kebab shops include sauces as standard, and customers manage their own dietary needs. On top of this, the salad contained half a chopped jalapeño instead of a full one, which felt like cost‑cutting. The lamb itself was not satisfactory. Overall, the meal was disappointing and the customer service was rude. Not worth the money.”

“Always get a take away a least three times a month very fast service and outstanding food. Reasonable prices. Once again exceptional service from these guys this time tried the Donna and Sheesh Combo with Salad and Rice with Pitta. The perfect meal in this heat sitting on my balcony pretending I am in Turkey👍😂”

“We are regular customers of Topkapi, the best takeaway around. Last night for the football we had the party box delivered with some added extras. Food was EXCELLENT as always, delivered on time and very much enjoyed by everyone. Thank you Topkapi, see you next week ... and the week after :-)”
