About Left Handed Giant Brewery & Tap Room
Left Handed Giant Brewery & Tap Room is a Bristol brewery whose taproom sits inside the working brewery at Unit 3 St Philips Rd. Eleven taps pour the brewery's own beers, and the 30HL brewhouse and canning line are in view from the taproom. The range includes hazy IPAs, and a nitro stout is on keg. Beers also come in cans with artwork. Street food vendors rotate through, with Los Hermanos serving burgers, and pizza is on offer with vegan options and vegan dips. The site sits in an industrial area on the brewery trail, and brewery tours take visitors behind the scenes.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come for the hazy IPAs first. One drinker calls Hidden Volumes one of the best hazy IPAs they have had, and another says the hazy IPA was perfect on a brewery trail visit. Close behind is the wide range of the brewery's own beers on tap, in what several describe as a classic tap room with plenty of seating indoors and out. Food trucks and stalls appear regularly, and reviewers single out a pizza with vegan options and vegan dips, plus a burger from the Los Hermanos stall. One visitor asked the bar for a 0% beer recommendation and the staff member came through. Staff are called helpful, and the relaxed vibe, summer drinking and a run club that heads down the bike path also come up. One reviewer advises being aware of the opening times. Another describes the nitro stout as very creamy, like a 90s revisit.

“Summer Festival! Deya. Verdant. And Left Handed Giant. Holy Trio! Atmosphere there? Always 10/10 Beers? 10/10 Place and vibes? 10/10 Huge selection of beers, always some street food ready to fill you up for another round of beers. The place is amazing and people there are super sweet and helpful. I never realised LGH had a taproom! Clean toilets and always fresh water on the side. Really love this place, on the side in the industrial area.”

“I got the chance to try your beers at PINT beer festival, and Hidden volumes was one of the best hazy IPAs I've ever had. Gorgeous artwork on the cans too. Cheers to Steph and Joe who gave us a bit of background history of the brewery!”

“Fancy a beer drop on by. Not much in the dark way but plenty of lights. The nitro keg stout is very creamy like a 90s revisit.”

“If you do take the time to visit this despite the excellent sister site in the centre you will be rewarded. Lots (and different options) of their own excellent beers in a classic tap room venue with plenty of space both inside and out. Regular food trucks”
