Customer Review Summary

Most reviewers come for the BBQ box, in its regular, XL and munch box versions, and praise the meat as delicious and full of flavour, with brisket, beef burnt ends, pulled pork and chicken thighs all named. Close behind are the garlic Texas toast, which one reviewer calls unreal, and friendly, speedy counter service. Several call the portions generous and the value good. The recurring complaint is availability: two reviewers found beef sold out on busy afternoons, one blaming delivery orders, and one suggests coming early so every meat is available. Queues at the till are mentioned, along with delivery drivers crowding the shop. The sides draw criticism too, with one reviewer describing bagged salad and what seems like store bought coleslaw and mac and cheese. One disappointed customer said an online order felt like a box of coleslaw with a little beef and a half-full sauce pit. Even so, one couple found the box so large that they took leftovers home for later that day.

“The food was delicious i order the bbq box. The portions were good. Unfortunately the brisket was sold out most of the orders where for uber. So if you want the brisket on a weekend after 2pm your best best is to order thru take away.”

“Food was really good I ordered a bbq box with adobo sauce. Sadly, they run out of beef so I would suggest to come early so every meat would be available. Apart from that I really enjoyed my dinner as usual from Low and Slow.”
  • James Warren
“This place is the real deal, great BBQ flavours, friendly staff & good value! We ordered the munch box, was all delicious! Brisket is so good”
  • Seb Dickson
“Ordered online and paid £15 for a box of coleslaw with a side of beef. The fact that the sauce pit was only half full just added insult to injury. Used to be happy ordering from here but I won’t be doing it again”
