About Siam Siam Thai Restaurant
On Preston St in Brighton, Siam Siam Thai Restaurant is a family run Thai kitchen where dogs are welcome at the table. The curry list runs to massaman with adjustable spice levels, alongside spicy salads and papaya salad, SomTum. Menus flag dishes with spice warnings for those sensitive to heat. Plant-based cooking gets its own line-up, with summer rolls, Pad Thai, and green curry among the vegan choices, while duck fried rice and prawn Pad Thai cover the non-vegetarian side. At lunch the kitchen turns out noodle soups, including a Thai twist on a Pho, and the dinner menu extends to tofu stir fries, ribs, prawn tempura, and sizzling duck. Reservations are required for a table. Thai pop music plays through the dining room during service.

Customer Review Summary
Massaman curry draws repeat praise as a standout, with reviewers also singling out the veg mix starter, tofu stir fries, sizzling duck, ribs, and prawn tempura, while several highlight generous vegan and plant based choices like summer rolls and Pad Thai. Newer lunch additions, including noodle soups compared to a Thai pho, get early enthusiasm too. Spicy salads and papaya salad (SomTum) come up as favorites for their fresh, bold flavor, and duck fried rice with prawn pad Thai is recommended by name. Friendly, attentive staff and a warm, home-style feel recur throughout, alongside praise for presentation and portion size. One reviewer notes the dishes were solidly seasoned rather than exceptional, and another mentions a wait for food during a busy service, though drinks arrived quickly. Several reviewers say they plan to return, with some already repeat visitors over years.

“Have been coming here for years and it never dissapoints: the decor is lovely & the staff so friendly, hardworking & friendly. The food really is beautiful, it's presentation is great. Personal favourites are the veg mix starter & massaman (love that you can ask for different spice levels!) - tofu stir fries also lovely. Family said the ribs & prawn tempura delicious as was the sizzling duck. I will be back to try some noodle dishes & cocktails :)”

“This restaurant was nice. The dishes wouldn’t blow you away, but they were well seasoned and generous in portion size. I would recommend going. If you don’t like spicy food, do look at the spice warnings on the menu, the dishes can be hot!”
