“Lovely atmosphere during the day, haven't been in the evening. Great view from upstairs dining area. Fabulous food in quality, choice, and large portions. Friendly staff. Large screen TV sports if that is your thing, but this is not intrusive. Pool tables and a game machine to entertain if you wish. I always make a point of eating here if I am in the area.”

“On first impressions looked ok, bar lady was friendly enough, bar men less so. Ordered meals which took ages to turn up. Food server was miserable and manners were lacking (also dropped fat on my jacket now stained) Had very upset stomach after eating roast. Roast dinner all veggies were hard. Yorkshire was flat but was nice as was the mash. Fish was very over cooked other meals were ok and chips were very nice. I would say had all meals been 100% would have been worth the money absolutely but with our particular experience a bit disappointed”
