About Saros Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant
Saros Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant occupies 12 Moat Street in Bridgnorth, sitting just off the main road in a spot that is easy to miss from the street. The dining room is small, with limited seating that often means a return visit later in the evening to secure a table. The kitchen covers a broad range, running from traditional Indian curries through to English dishes, and the menu is set up to accommodate gluten-free and lactose-intolerant diners. Alcoholic drinks sit alongside soft drinks and water. The team hosts large group celebrations here, including birthday parties where guests bring homemade cakes. Service runs on a walk-in basis, and parking is available close by for those travelling in from outside town.

“We visited here last night as someone had recommended - wish we hadn’t bothered I can honestly say I’ve never experienced The way I feel now , so Hence writing a review , My stomach and toiletry needs Last night was awful and I’m still experiencing stomach upset My husband also but not as bad Also the place needs some TLC Dirty in places - no excuse in my opinion If my hubby had visited the WC before eating He said we would have walked out Disgusting he said , however the ladies was ok The food was ok , rice was overcooked and they don’t use Basmatic rice , cheap long grain rice so not what you would expect Yoghurt sauce was too thin Hubbys curry was ok , mine came out with no salad so it wasn’t very nice half way through my meal I asked the waiter and he did apologize and brought out a cheap ( thrown together) salad with the watery mint sauce It did then improve a little better I hope you address these comments and amend things for the future But Sadly we will not return”

“It was okay, but we wouldn't return. The guy serving shouldn't be front of house. His customer service skills are poor, when he served us with our food, (which was good) he stunk of cigarettes, which was off putting. Prices are good as well.”

“We were staying in Bridgnorth for the weekend and were recommended Saros by a local couple we got chatting to. 3 of us had starters, mains, and 5 shared sides between us. 2 beers and a squash. It came to around £55 before tip, so great value. The food was delicious and very friendly service. I would definitely recommend it.”
