  “I've ordered from Saltys on just eat twice and it's been a terrible experience on both occasions. The first time, I ordered an unbattered sausage & chips, and a chip butty with curry sauce. When it came, half of the order did not arrive. I rang up and told Saltys, they said they could not send the rest of the order as the drivers for Just Eat don't do unpaid trips, which isn't their problem, but it's still annoying that I only got half of my order when this could've never happened. The second order, was today, I thought I'd give them a second chance. Once again, a huge disappointment. Within my order, I had two chip buttys, these did not arrive, instead I got two portions of chips. I also had scallops, one was not cooked and was basically eating raw potato in crispy batter. I rang up when the order first came, they stated that it wasn't their fault as it was "Just eats" fault- similar to the previous order complication. I feel like they blame external delivery services for their poor quality. It's gone down hill very fast, my disabled aunt used to eat from here and she'd turn her head now if she saw the state of it.”

  “We don’t live in Bradford but when my husband and I visit the family we always have food from there. Went yesterday, but for the 1st time we were disappointed. The fish and chips tasted different and left a nasty greasy taste in the mouth. We spent more than £30 for the food, and threw most of it in the bin. Is it under new management? If so the new owners need to take some advice from the former.”

  “Just ordered from salty,s via the shop,staff helped me by bringing my food to the car due to having bad knees,thank you so much,i would not have had a proper meal tonight if they had not brought it out”

  “Just eat order.... Came late and stone cold.. Never had a problem with saltys but today was a joke of a small portion for price... Child's portion for adult price..”

  “Just had fish and chips for tea,lovely white fish,crispy batter,but very disappointed on the portion size it was quite small considering the price.will think twice before ordering again.”

  “Ordered food via just eat at 5pm which salty recieved at 5:07pm still sat waiting for it to be accepted 43 minutes later, rang to ask why the hold up or if they can cancel the order the rude girl who answered the phone said "dont have an order i have the machine here theres nothing, not my problem" my partner told her thats the last time we will be ordering and we got "thats fine love" then phone ended, then magically this order she didnt have and couldnt find was magically accepted. Next time try not lying to your customers and just being honest and admit you didnt see the order come through. Poor customer service and rude staff.”

  “Salty’s has always been regular for us but tbh as a last resort … BUT no longer it is now in our no1 spot! I’ve no idea when the change happened but the last few times we’ve been - friendly, welcoming staff, golden crispy chips soft inside, the fish white & moist with crispy batter & no stodginess - just lovely! Now we’re happy to go there :)”

  “the chips had white hair on them. the fish looked and tasted like it had been re cooked 5 times but the curry sauce was good. don’t recommend this chippy.”

  “Enjoyed the fish and chips here. Freshly fried fish to order always tastes good... Chips were cooked through but the outside felt a bit hard for some reason. Service was very friendly. Will be back again sometime, there are better chippies in Bradford but this is a good choice to go to.”
