  “B6 / B2 From the get go we felt comfortable, as we walked in there was space for us to pray maghrib, nasheeds mellowly playing in the back rather than bollywood headbanging music. We immediately admired the stunning details and spectacular interior design. Every dish earned high rating: tender juicy lamb chops, punchy dynamite prawns, rich steak (the rack), creamy mac and cheese, crisp chips, and soft bao buns all hit the mark. Deconstructed cheesecake, sweet kunafa, and refreshing mocktails finished things beautifully. For me the Vudu Mint Rack and the Dynamite Prawns and the deconstructed cheesecake stole the show. They make it fresh every day the waiter said. The waiter said he makes it himself, I believe him! Service was warm, attentive, and excellent throughout. Deffo coming back with a bigger group. Worth to note, very family friendly environment, no alcohol being served, shout out to the brother who made the playlist. Couldn't fault the food and neither could I fault that nasheed playlist. I ask Allah to bless this business and all those taking part!”

  “I’d highly recommend Vudu — it’s definitely become my new go-to spot. The food was absolutely delicious, packed with flavour, and each dish had its own distinct taste. Everything felt fresh and was cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional, and the presentation of the food really stood out. My favourite had to be the chicken tangle starter — it was so unique and full of flavour. The ribs were just as impressive, incredibly tender and falling apart the moment I touched them with a fork. The mocktails were so addictive too! Very unique menu and amazing restaurant.”

  “Really enjoyed my rhubarb and ginger mockatil. I ordered inferno chicken, the chicken and creamy rice spinach filling was lovely, however i didn't think the barbecue sauce married well with filling. The sauce on its own was very tasty. I would definitely return from Birmingham. Staff were exceptionally on point with service.”

  “Our experience was an overall good one. Although it's a bit on the pricey side for what you get, it was a special occasion for us so decided to try it. Pan fried lamb chops were tough though (more on that in a moment). The tiger prawn were amazing. The sirloin steak was okay too I should have got a better cut like ribeye to be honest. The mocktails were massive and lasted throughout the meal. We mentioned to the waiter the chops were tough, the owner came over and asked for feedback. I explained the fat on them was not rendered down enough and was chewy. What I liked that he took this on board and said they are not usually like that. He took abit off the bill and gave us a free dessert which was a beautiful deconstructed cheesecake. Giving feedback is one thing but actively listening to it is what makes an establishment great.”

  “We had such a lovely experience at Vudu in Huddersfield. The atmosphere was amazing, the restaurant looked beautiful and the service from the staff was so welcoming and attentive throughout. The food was absolutely delicious, we especially loved the ribeye steaks, the mac and cheese, cheesy chicken tangle, lamb chops, dynamite prawns and the lobster. Everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavour and presented beautifully. The desserts and mocktails were also amazing and finished the meal off perfectly. Special thanks to Ruhal for looking after us and making sure we had a great experience throughout our visit 😊 Thank you again for your hospitality, we really enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back soon!”

  “VUDU, Huddersfield — officially one of the most underrated hidden gems in West Yorkshire. From the moment we walked in, the whole place gave luxury vibes ✨ The atmosphere? 10/10 🖤 The service? So warm and welcoming 👏 And the FOOD… absolutely unreal. 🥩 The steak was cooked to perfection — juicy, tender, full of flavour, and honestly one of the best I’ve had. 🍤 The creamy sauces, sides, and seafood dishes were rich and delicious. 🧀 That cheesy baked dish at the end? Pure comfort food heaven. Every plate came out looking stunning, and the taste matched the presentation perfectly 😍 If you’re looking for somewhere with amazing food, top-tier service, and the perfect vibe for date night, girls’ night, or family dinner… VUDU is THAT place. Hidden gem? 100%. Best steak in Huddersfield? Easily. Will I be coming back? Absolutely YES 🙌✨”

  “Went to Vudu for the first time with some friends. It was quite quiet. Restaurant is beautiful and atmosphere is cosy. Felt very comfortable even as a group of women. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Came over multiple times to check if we were ok or needed anything else. Food didn’t take too long to arrive. For starters we had: Dynamite prawns, lamb chops, cheesy chicken tangle Mains: pulled beef burger, chicken steak, mixed shish Drinks: Various mocktails Everything was presented really well and cooked to perfection. I did not know what to expect from the cheesy chicken tangle, it was surprisingly addictive, just kept wanting to go back for more! Great portion sizes and everything was very flavourful. Drinks were really nice too. We got offered complimentary desserts which was a nice touch - always makes you feel happy when you get something free. They were deconstructed cheesecakes - normally, i’m very critical and hard to please when it comes to dessert - but these were beautiful. Not to sweet and tasted delicious! I did prefer the strawberry one to the chocolate one. Overall a great experience and definitely want to head back to try the steak!”

  “Superb restaurant, what a lovely little find in Huddersfield. The food was amazing, everything was not only presented beautifully but tasted as good as it looked. The grilled lamb chops we cooked to perfection! Also, what a fabulous non-alcoholic menu, I tried many of the cocktails and they were delicious! Service was excellent and our waiter (I think he was called Aman) was very knowledgeable on the menu & recommendations for both food & drinks! I would absolutely recommend Vudu!”

  “We visited last week as a group of girls and had one of the best dining experience I’ve had in a while. The food was absolutely spot on with the best ribs I’ve ever- juicy and meaty! Bonus is that the portion sizes are great. The manager was incredible, absolutely knows how to look after customers ensuring we went away happy. The non alcoholic drinks selection is the most impressive I’ve seen. We were assured there is absolutely no alcohol used which put us at ease. I would highly highly recommend and will be visiting again soon.”
