  “the staff who dealt with our order was apaulingly rude absolutely disgusted with his behaviour and just as my husband was about to walk out with the order another woman was complaining about the same thing. she had kids with her and was so upset about the staffs rude behaviour towards her.”

  “I’ve been a regular customer at Phatboyz on Thornton Road for quite some time, ordering both through Uber Eats and directly over the phone. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very disappointing. I placed an order around 11:30pm on Monday 20th April and the colleague who answered the phone was extremely rude and arrogant. When I ordered a chicken mac fries, he abruptly told me I had said the item name incorrectly, in a very dismissive and dismissive tone. When I asked for a cola frozen slush, he started suggesting a completely different item and acted as if I was the one who was wrong. When I calmly asked for his name, he refused and said he didn’t need to give it. I’ve never experienced this level of poor customer service from here before. As a loyal customer, I find this behaviour unacceptable. Staff should be trained in basic customer service and phone etiquette — speaking respectfully to customers should be the minimum standard. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures this doesn’t happen again.”

  “we ordered the spicy dip burger (buy one get one free) and the in n out burger. we also asked for 2 free mocktails on the house and.. THEY DELIVERED!! honestly made my day!! so thank you so much for that. the spicy dip burger made my mouth burn so much but was so good. I could NOT stop eating it. The mocktails they blessed us with were 10/10. I’ll definitely be ordering regularly now from phatboyz 😉 Amazing service and just general kindness 🤍 hopefully I’ll visit soon !! Thank you so much again !”

  “Came from Bristol for the weekend and decided to grab some takeaway from here and certainly didn’t disappoint. Donner meat was the nicest I’ve ever tasted in my life! Food was well cooked and tasted amazing! Great size portions and looked great. Staff member was super friendly and even called us to let us know when it was ready. Would 100% eat here again if we returned to the area. 10/10”

  “I recently visited Phatzboyz in Bradford, and I can honestly say it was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a spot that hits the mark on food, service, and vibes, this is it. The food was incredible and the portions were very generous—you definitely get your money's worth here as everything tasted fresh and high-quality. What really stood out was the variety on offer; the staff were amazing at walking us through the menu and suggesting different items, which made it much easier to choose since everything looked so good. Even though the shop was quite busy when we arrived, the team handled it perfectly. The staff are incredibly well-mannered, welcoming, and attentive. I was really impressed with the wait time; despite the crowd, they managed to get our entire order out within 15 to 20 minutes, which is top-tier service for such a popular spot. You also cannot leave this place without trying the desserts. We ordered both the vanilla and the chocolate options, and they were honestly out of this world. While the vanilla was delicious, the chocolate one was on another level—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere really sets Phatzboyz apart too. They have lovely nasheeds playing in the background, which creates such a peaceful and respectful environment. It’s a very welcoming place to sit down and enjoy a meal with friends or family. I will definitely be returning regularly, not just for the amazing food, but for the lovely atmosphere and the excellent way we were treated by the staff. Highly recommend to anyone in Bradford!”

  “Wow what a place, the food was amazing, by far the best smashed burger ever, the steak and chips were mouth watering. I would 100% recommend, Armani serving was very welcoming and helped with his recommendations and got it spot on.”

  “Absolutely top-quality food and service! I visited Phat Boyz and couldn’t fault a single thing. The customer service was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. I ordered the Smash Box, Hot Chicken Box, Hot Chicken Burger, and a Sandwich ,every item was packed with flavour, cooked perfectly, and served fresh. The smash burger was juicy, the hot chicken had the perfect level of spice, and the portions were very generous. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. Definitely one of the best spots around .I’ll 100% be coming back and recommending this place to others.”

  “I tried to speak to the owner of this establishment about this however didn’t receive any response, so thought I’d share my experience on here. We recently visited phatboyz and ordered the ‘viral’ steak and fries for collection, after a 4 hour train drive to Bradford, my husband treated me to this food as I’d always see it on my TikTok. Once we had received the food we were really disappointed with the presentation and lack of sauce that was provided. Don’t get me wrong the steak and fries were absolutely delicious I really can’t fault it! Just a shame about the looks and lack of sauce and fries. I wanted to return to speak to one of the workers but after a 4 hour journey you can imagine I was far too tired and hungry. I don’t expect anything from this message but just thought I’d inform the business as it really is a let down when you see such great visuals online and then reality is nothing like it!”

  “26/03/25 Me and my 2 friends came in to try out new things. 2 fish box's and one Mexican wrap and chips for myself If you haven't checked this place out you really must be living in a cave. 5 stars from me everything was spot on and lovely Staff were very good. Good hardworking women 👏 service was 10/10 Will be coming again thank you phatboyz”
