Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the udon and katsu curry, with the pork katsu curry praised for juicy, crispy pork and a curry that tastes made from scratch rather than ready-made. Close behind are the curry udon with tempura prawns, described as massive and perfectly cooked, and a chicken udon called fresh and full of flavor. Several mention generous portions, quick service from the counter to the table, and friendly staff who offered recommendations. A few call the food authentic for Bolton. The main complaint comes from one reviewer who found the katsudon too salty, with an average portion and a price higher than comparable places, enough that they would not order it again or try other dishes. One diner also noted the food court was busy at lunchtime during half term. Others describe a thick fried pork cutlet and a rice dish of fried pork chop with egg, and one says the udon is nothing like cheap instant noodles.

“Wow. What else there to say? Ordered the pork belly, the food was flawless. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. One of only a few truely authentic Japanese eateries I have found in Bolton. Also very little time too Que and delivered to your table.”

“Amazing food The fried pork is real thick. Can taste sincerity in their curry, not any other ready to use curry. Udon is decent not the kind of cheap ,sour , mesh instant udon. Nice service with heart Store is well deco Air coned food hall Over all is a great deal of money. Recommend Must try”

“This place is located in the Bolton food market. A relatively small place, but serves the place well. The food here is really nice. Quite authentic for its origins and the portion size is generous. The staff are pleasant and service was relatively quick. The food court was busier than I expected, but I guess that is more to do with it being half term, lunchtime and good weather. Worth a visit”

“Excellent experience overall. The chicken udon was fresh, comforting, and full of flavor, with generous portions at a very reasonable price. The restaurant offered great value and a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying meal.”
