  “Ordered over the phone outside of peak hours and after 2 hours the food still hadn’t arrived. Called twice to chase it and see if it was easier to just collect it ourselves and was told both times it was “out for delivery” - evidently it wasn’t. Called a third time after 2 hours to cancel, no answer, had to ring from a different number just to get through and cancel the order and got through straight away, so they actively ignored the call from the number the order was placed from. We’ve used this place for years (15+ years) and only ever had a handful of minor issues with missing items etc, so it’s a shame. Not sure if the business has changed hands and standards have slipped, or if phone orders just aren’t a priority next to JustEat (which we’ve ordered off plenty of times no issue) but either way the service was horrifically poor so won’t be ordering again at all.”

  “Wow.. Amazing Food From Here .. Just ordered.. Double Cheese Burger Meal, got loads of chips and a fanta drink.. Large chips and Curry Sauce.. My son said the double cheese burger was the best he ever had, i asked Mcdonalds or The Taste of Italy.. He said "The Taste of Italy always".. lol.. Tbh it was massive and looked so nice, for me there was no comparison "Taste of Italy always".. He got loads of chips with his meal and a drink The large chips was a "large portion" and tasted so nice, curry sauce 😋😋.. Chips from here are real chips and not fries.. Bonus.. This is now going to be my local take away delivery.. Loads to choose from, very quick with delivery and food tastes amazing.. Highly recommended.. "Thank You" **The Taste of Italy** xx😋💯😋xx”

  “The fish was beautifully golden and crispy on the outside, while the inside stayed soft, flaky, and full of flavor. The chips were just how I like them — hot, perfectly cooked, and not greasy at all. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous for the price. The staff were friendly and quick, and my order was ready in no time.”

  “Awful, order came ALL chips were obviously old and hard very disappointing when waiting for your food to arrive and you can’t eat it! Called up and they said they will cook fresh chips and send them out waiting double the time AND STILL (3rd pic) rank hard chips! waste of money.”

  “Please don’t waste your money! Ordered delivery, Pizza came with the topping slumped in one side of box, chips were burnt, solid and cold. Scollops were undercooked! Really disappointing experience and from looking at reviews looks like a common theme!”

  “Not impressed this time round, chips were definitely reheats, asked for large kebab in a pitta n large chips with all the salad and was only given lettuce not a cucumber, tomato or onion to be seen. Disappointed would not recommend 😔”

  “I visited here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I opted and ordered for the cod & chips at a competively priced £6.99 Didn’t have to wait too long (5-10 mins) and the fish ‘n’ were chips cooked from fresh. The fish was a very respectable modest size & was very tasty. Best cod tasted in the area for a while & chips were spot on. When the weather gets better I will return fairly soon.”
