Customer Review Summary
Friendly, attentive staff draw the most consistent praise, with diners describing a warm welcome even for a party that arrived shortly before closing and was never rushed. On the food, the fried chicken mixed platter stands out, where one chooses three proteins, such as chicken strips in sweet Korean sauce, garlic and honey wings, and corn dogs with the house secret sauce. Close behind are the spicy beef stew, doenjang jjigae with clam, octopus, tofu and prawns, udon noodles, Korean stir-fried beef, and salt and pepper squid. One reviewer recommends the tteokbokki and seafood pancake, and another praises a cocktail and an iced chai. Reviewers also mention halal and non-halal options, a discount for NHS staff, and a cash discount. The one complaint is from a diner who expected more fried chicken for the price. Another describes a birthday dessert where staff put the happy birthday song on the speakers and made sure everyone sang along.

“We travelled quite a long way to eat here and arrived just 20 minutes before closing. Despite that, the staff were so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. They never rushed us and kindly waited until we had finished our meal. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was exceptional. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Amazing service, last time i had come here it was the same and so this time I had recommended this restaurant to my friends, they have a 15% NHS staff discount and it really pulls the prices down though they are originally pretty low especially for 4 people. Staff have humour and have excellent serving skills. My friends planned a surprise birthday dessert and they created a fun wholesole atmosphere with putting “happy birthday” song on the speakers and making sure everyone sung it. Lovely people and lovely atmosphere. Will DEFINITELY recommend to others.”
