About The Beaufort
The Beaufort is a traditional local pub in Birmingham, found on Old Walsall Rd at number 42-46. It is an old pub that serves locals. Management and ownership are new, following a recent change of hands. The bar has draught beer and cider on offer, and John Smiths Nitro is among the pours. Football is shown on a big screen in the bar, so a match can be watched there over a drink.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly, welcoming bar staff at this traditional local pub, with several crediting the new managers and owners for improvements and noting the place has been done up. Drinks draw praise from some for good prices, including a reasonable draught beer and cider selection and a good quality John Smiths Nitter, and big screen football gets a mention. One reviewer held a party in the separate room at the end of the pub and describes locals and partiers sharing the building without any problems. Food is where opinions split: one calls it tasty, while another says the pub would be better if food were available. The most pointed complaints are about stock and cost. One visitor could not buy coffee or Mild, and another called the drinks way overpriced and suggested the off license next door instead. A couple of reviewers describe the pub as dated and needing some TLC, though one still calls it clean. A mixed age group is mentioned, along with a big car park.

“Average pub with drinks way over priced. Better off going to the off license next to it. Won't be going there again!!”

“Went for a party. Nice venue to hold a party at. Had lots of fun. Bar staff kept us all watered and happy. No complaints 👌🏾 I wasn't at the main part of the pub so food wasn't served where the party was happening. Its a separate room at the end of the pub, so locals can still enjoy their pub and the partiers can party in the next room without any problems. Win win”

“I last visited here in 1984; completely different dynamics. I enjoyed a good quality John Smiths Nitter and dry toasted peanuts for £4.20. I was told Fridays are worth a look. I'll ho and edit.”
