  “Every time I go here, food just slaps. Anything I get is always good. Food always fresh and hot. Chicken crispy and juicy and for the price it’s too good for what it is. Plenty of seating and staff are always friendly and helpful”

  “First visit was really amazing. Had 3 different burgers (Luke The Nuke - don't want to try again; Bossman Chicken Shop - love it; Big Mack - loved it) and all of them worth having again. The Koofman chips good too. Will visit again for trying more of their burgers. Just a suggestion, they should have more options for desserts.”

  “My first visit. The chicken & fries are the best out there ; flavour, texture & price & served so quickly & friendly. Casual lunchtime visit, 3 of us all ordered same item, all equally impressed. Who knew fried chicken could be this good. Would love to try their burgers & wings next time.”

  “Staff are always amazing here, they get your food delivered to you super fast, always polite and friendly! And the food is amazing. One of my favourite places to go with friends and family. Food is really filling! I love it. I reccomend booking a table, it gets really busy here! The Queens Drive carpark is down the road, it's like a 5 minute walk ( if you're looking for parking ) or you could park in town.”

  “I love a bit of fried chicken (don't we all) so was keen to check CG out. It's a sports bar, nice and spacious, it wasn't busy when we rocked up for lunch. Burger, wings, fries all very tasty, and the loaded fries were indeed over-loaded, can't complain about that though. Staff were nice and friendly, look forward to returning to try more fried goodness.”

  “The start of my visit didn't go very well. Walked in and stood by the sign waiting to be seated. The bartender looked at me and continued speaking with a customer, who we talkin about his broken heart while picking bbq sauce off his finger, after 10 minutes the bartender asked if I needed a seat and told me to go sit down at a table without a reserve sign. Walked round and couldnt find any free seats. Stopped a lady called JANAI and explained what happened and she was very helpful and signpost me to the Manager Jo who looked horrified to hear what I was told. She immediately clean and got me a table. Would like to shout out them two staff members, there where very polite and helpful str8 away.....now that's done....on to the food, absolute amazing, I got garlic and parmesan tater tots and wings and honey bbq strips.....10/10, chicken was very crispy, very saucy and flavoursome. The only small negative i have is that on the menu it said garlic butter but it was more like mayonnaise, could of done with more parmesan cheese but overall the food was very very nice. I brought 2 cocktails for 12£ and i was somewhat disappointed.... I brought a pornstar martini and pina-colada. The cornstarch came in such a small glass took 4 sips and it was finished, was mostly froth and the pina-colada had a weird after taste. But Jo coming over and asking how we was made up for the downs of the visit. But I would definitely come back”

  “I’d been meaning to call in here for some time, having heard great things about the place. Finally visited last week. I have to say: It’s definitely so much better than fried chicken from any of the usual suspects. This was fresh, succulent and flavoursome, all without being too greasy. It’s also excellent value for the quality you’re getting. I’ll definitely be returning for another fix!!”

  “Absolutely amazing we drove over an hour for this and wasn’t disappointed.wings perfect, burgers perfect, chicken perfect,chips perfect just go if you haven’t you won’t be disappointed 👍 edit 14/09/25 back again for another mouthwatering selection of food! As always fresh hot and so tasty! Couldn’t fault anything and have some pictures this time”

  “Well what can we say apart from every trip I’ve had to chicken George I’ve never been disappointed or dissatisfied. If you haven’t been then well your missing out because at chicken George they sling some of the best chicken this country has to offer ( it’s god level chicken ) and it makes kfc look like small time . I had there original chicken George fried chicken and my god !! This hits your mouth your instantly grinning like a Cheshire Cat, beautifully crisp coating then that lovely moist chicken .. no dry mouth here ! I also had one of his specials which was based on a prawn ball , I’m not a lover of prawn so I was skeptical I popped this into my mouth and my tastebuds were dancing like usher ..wow Chris is like the Willy wonker of chicken, it’s not just the food that sings the price you pay equally as impressive ! For what you’re getting it’s tasty food that cheap as chips , that doesn’t cut corners and will put a smile on your face without breaking the bank . Lastly let’s not forget the staff who are amazing and provide great customer service .   “Hands down some of the best wings I've ever had. CG really do think outside the box when making weird and wonderful wing flavours. You can taste why these guys win so many awards at food festivals. The atmosphere in the resturant has a cool vibe and the service is on point. I would totally recommend CG to everyone I know and I can't wait to go back.”
