Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come for the sheer spread of Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Thai and Malaysian dishes at a price they call good value. Named favourites include the Sichuan spicy fish, braised beef brisket, beef belly and ribs, crispy pork pancakes and curry samosas, with teppanyaki steak and king prawns cooked on demand. Dessert comes close behind, with the chocolate fountain and mini cakes praised, though one diner found the desserts underwhelming. Complaints are specific: curries and sauces that were far too watery, prawn toast that was just fried bread, and tables set extremely close together. One diner skipped a very long opening queue by booking in advance, and another found the main section noisy with children running about, so sat on the balcony instead. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, and plates are cleared quickly each time diners finish.

“We went for the first time today and were greeted by a lovely member of staff at the front door. It was great value for money at lunch time for £10.99. Food was decent, normal buffet stuff. The only disappointment was the prawn toast, it was just fried bread. Very good service and nice seating arrangements.”

“The food at this buffet is absolutely spot on, with a brilliant range of different dessert options, and everything looks fresh and tastes amazing. It was my first time visiting, but I was highly impressed by the whole experience. I really enjoyed the passion tropical mocktail as well, which was a lovely, refreshing treat. The staff are lovely and really on the ball, keeping the place proper tidy and clean, so you really can't fault it, it's a cracking spot for a meal.”

“Wow, what a great place! The price was excellent for the amount of food on offer, and there was so much choice that it was impossible to try everything in one visit. The food was fresh, tasty and regularly topped up throughout our meal. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the tables were kept clean at all times, with plates cleared away quickly. We chose a quieter seating area which made for a really relaxing dining experience. The atmosphere was lovely and the whole restaurant felt well organised despite being busy. Highly recommend Hans Buffet to anyone looking for great value and a huge variety of food. We will definitely be coming back again soon!”

“Great variety and value for money! Han's Buffet never disappoints! The spread is impressive — from fresh seafood and sashimi to juicy roasts and a good selection of Chinese and Western dishes. The dessert section is a real treat, with a chocolate fountain, cakes, and ice cream that the whole family loves. Service is fast and friendly, plates are cleared quickly, and the atmosphere is comfortable for both big groups and casual dinners. The weekend dinner buffet is especially worth it with the additional live station options. For the price, you really can't find better quality and variety in town. Will definitely come back!”
