Customer Review Summary

Pots Of Pleasure draws consistent praise for its friendly, welcoming staff and generous portions, with the ploughman's platter singled out as a hearty lunch option. Diners frequently highlight the soup of the day, the French toast with streaky bacon, and the homemade lemon meringue pie as standout dishes. The cafe's cosy, flower-filled setting and the attached gift shop add to its charm, while the varied menu and efficient service keep most guests planning return visits. A few reviewers note that the space gets very busy at peak times, and several suggest booking ahead to avoid being turned away.

Very busy Saturday lunchtime. Warmly greeted and got a table quickly. Other people arriving after us were turned away. Advisable to book a table in advance. Lovely sunny day in August. Parked nearby. Food was delicious. Lemon meringue pie was home-made. A lovely cafe to visit.
  • Michael Gregory
Great place for lunch at a reasonable price. Will be back to try coffee and cakes. It has a great gift shop.
  • Molly Vannan
We called in at lunchtime yesterday and were very lucky to get a seat. Lovely clean bright place with varied menu and friendly efficient staff. We had the French toast with streaky bacon, it was delicious. First time we’d been there, definitely hope to be back.
